Let it be done for you as you want.” And from that moment her daughter was cured.

I am weary from my crying; my throat is parched. My eyes fail, looking for my God.

Why was no one there when I came? Why was there no one to answer when I called? Is My hand too short to redeem? Or do I have no power to deliver? Look, I dry up the sea by My rebuke; I turn the rivers into a wilderness; their fish rot because of lack of water and die of thirst.

They seek Me day after day and delight to know My ways, like a nation that does what is right and does not abandon the justice of their God. They ask Me for righteous judgments; they delight in the nearness of God.”

My love thrust his hand through the opening, and my feelings were stirred for him.

They go with their flocks and herds to seek the Lord but do not find Him; He has withdrawn from them.

I think of God; I groan; I meditate; my spirit becomes weak. Selah

My eyes are worn out from crying. Lord, I cry out to You all day long; I spread out my hands to You.Do You work wonders for the dead? Do departed spirits rise up to praise You? SelahWill Your faithful love be declared in the grave, Your faithfulness in Abaddon?Will Your wonders be known in the darkness or Your righteousness in the land of oblivion?But I call to You for help, Lord; in the morning my prayer meets You.Lord, why do You reject me? Why do You hide Your face from me?

Lord God of Hosts, how long will You be angry with Your people’s prayers?

He inquired of the Lord, but the Lord did not answer him in dreams or by the Urim or by the prophets.

On that day you will say:“ I will praise You, Lord, although You were angry with me. Your anger has turned away, and You have had compassion on me.

I will depart and return to My place until they recognize their guilt and seek My face; they will search for Me in their distress.

The king replied,“ Sons of Zeruiah, do we agree on anything? He curses me this way because the Lord told him,‘ Curse David!’ Therefore, who can say,‘ Why did you do that?’”

He said to his brothers,“ My money has been returned! It’s here in my bag.” Their hearts sank. Trembling, they turned to one another and said,“ What is this that God has done to us?”

Lord, when You showed Your favor, You made me stand like a strong mountain; when You hid Your face, I was terrified.

For I will not accuse you forever, and I will not always be angry; for then the spirit would grow weak before Me, even the breath of man, which I have made.
