今我喜、非因爾憂、乃因爾憂而生改悔、蓋爾憂乃依上帝旨、致爾無所受損於我儕、夫依上帝旨而憂、則生改悔、以致得救、無後悔、惟斯世之憂則致死、試觀爾依上帝旨而憂、生何如之慇懃、自訴、怨艾、恐懼、戀慕、熱衷、譴責、爾於斯悉自表為潔矣、

自野而來、狀如煙柱、薰以沒藥乳香、及商賈之芳品、伊何人乎、

非第因其至、亦因其所受於爾之慰慰我、即以爾之戀慕憂傷、及為我熱衷告我、令我益喜、
