As a piece of a pomegranate[ are] thy temples within thy locks.

Thine head upon thee[ is] like Carmel, and the hair of thine head like purple; the king[ is] held in the galleries.

Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thine heritage, which dwell solitarily[ in] the wood, in the midst of Carmel: let them feed[ in] Bashan and Gilead, as in the days of old.

And thy renown went forth among the heathen for thy beauty: for it[ was] perfect through my comeliness, which I had put upon thee, saith the Lord GOD.

And Moses gave Gilead unto Machir the son of Manasseh; and he dwelt therein.

My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away.

So shall the king greatly desire thy beauty: for he[ is] thy Lord; and worship thou him.

But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory,[ even] as by the Spirit of the Lord.

O my dove,[ that art] in the clefts of the rock, in the secret[ places] of the stairs, let me see thy countenance, let me hear thy voice; for sweet[ is] thy voice, and thy countenance[ is] comely.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

His head[ is as] the most fine gold, his locks[ are] bushy,[ and] black as a raven.His eyes[ are] as[ the eyes] of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk,[ and] fitly set.

Thou hast ravished my heart, my sister,[ my] spouse; thou hast ravished my heart with one of thine eyes, with one chain of thy neck.How fair is thy love, my sister,[ my] spouse! how much better is thy love than wine! and the smell of thine ointments than all spices!

[ Let] nothing[ be done] through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
