Scarcely had I passed them when I found the one my heart loves. I held him and would not let him go till I had brought him to my mother’s house, to the room of the one who conceived me.

那人說：『天快亮了，讓我走吧。』雅各說：『你不給我祝福，我就不讓你走。』

在母腹中他抓住他哥哥的腳跟，當強壯時他和上帝較力他和天使較力，竟得了勝；他哭泣向他懇求。是在伯特利他遇見了上帝，是在那裏上帝同他說話——

『不能生育、沒生養過的啊，歡呼哦！沒受過產痛的啊，爆發歡呼聲，而尖聲高喊哦！因為淒涼獨居者的兒女比有丈夫者的兒女還多：這是永恆主說的。擴張你帳棚的地方哦！張大你居所的幔子哦，不要限制！拉長你的繩子，把你的橛子釘堅固哦！因為你必向南向北突破疆界而開展；你的後裔必擁有許多國以為業，使荒涼的城有人居住。

『求，就給你們；尋找，就找着；敲門，就給你們開。

『要趁永恆主可找到時尋找他，趁他相近時呼求他。惡人要離棄自己的路；奸惡之輩要棄掉自己的意圖，回轉來歸永恆主，讓永恆主憐憫他，來歸我們的上帝，因為上帝廣行赦免。

不知不覺我的心竟把我安置於我的長輩旁邊的車中了。

你的頭在你身上如迦密山；你頭上的秀髮帶紫黑色；君王竟因這髮綹而被繫住了。

忽然耶穌迎着她們來了，說：『你們好啊！』她們上前去，抱住他的腳拜他。

人切候着永恆主、心裏尋求他、永恆主必好待這人。

但那在上的耶路撒冷卻是自主的；她乃是我們的母親。

我不是在隱密處、在黑暗之地的所在說話的；我並不是對雅各的後裔說：「你們要空空虛虛以尋求我」呀；我永恆主是講義理，是宣揚正直的。

耶穌對她說：『馬利亞！』那婦人就轉身，用希伯來土話對耶穌說：『拉波尼！』（就是說：『我老師！』）耶穌對她說：『別纏着我了！我還沒有上去見父。你要去找我弟兄，對他們說：「我上去見我的父，也就是你們的父；見我的上帝，也就是你們的上帝」』。

你們要尋求我、而尋見；你們若全心地尋找我，

我必快來；你所有的、你要持守着，免得有人奪取了你的華冠。得勝的、我必使他做柱石在我的上帝的殿堂中；他決不再出去到外面。我必將我的上帝之名、和我的上帝之城的名（新的耶路撒冷、那由天上、從我的上帝那裏降下來的）、連我新的名、都寫在他上面。
