At the evening offering, I got up from my humiliation, with my tunic and robe torn. Then I fell on my knees and spread out my hands to Yahweh my God.And I said: My God, I am ashamed and embarrassed to lift my face toward You, my God, because our iniquities are higher than our heads and our guilt is as high as the heavens.

You who dwell in the gardens— companions are listening for your voice— let me hear you!

Daughters of Jerusalem, I am dark like the tents of Kedar, yet lovely like the curtains of Solomon.

Then He continued,“ I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob.” Moses hid his face because he was afraid to look at God.

and when My glory passes by, I will put you in the crevice of the rock and cover you with My hand until I have passed by.Then I will take My hand away, and you will see My back, but My face will not be seen.”

I sleep, but my heart is awake. A sound! My love is knocking! Open to me, my sister, my darling, my dove, my perfect one. For my head is drenched with dew, my hair with droplets of the night.

Yahweh said to him,“ Who made the human mouth? Who makes him mute or deaf, seeing or blind? Is it not I, Yahweh?Now go! I will help you speak and I will teach you what to say.”Moses said,“ Please, Lord, send someone else.”

Abandon the towns! Live in the cliffs, residents of Moab! Be like a dove that nests inside the mouth of a cave.

Therefore let us approach the throne of grace with boldness, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us at the proper time.

When the woman saw that she was discovered, she came trembling and fell down before Him. In the presence of all the people, she declared the reason she had touched Him and how she was instantly cured.“ Daughter,” He said to her,“ your faith has made you well. Go in peace.”

For the Lord will comfort Zion; He will comfort all her waste places, and He will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the Lord. Joy and gladness will be found in her, thanksgiving and melodious song.

But my dove, my virtuous one, is unique; she is the favorite of her mother, perfect to the one who gave her birth. Women see her and declare her fortunate; queens and concubines also, and they sing her praises:Who is this who shines like the dawn— as beautiful as the moon, bright as the sun, awe-inspiring as an army with banners?

“ Look, I’m sending you out like sheep among wolves. Therefore be as shrewd as serpents and as harmless as doves.

If I summoned Him and He answered me, I do not believe He would pay attention to what I said.

Lord, righteousness belongs to You, but this day public shame belongs to us: the men of Judah, the residents of Jerusalem, and all Israel— those who are near and those who are far, in all the countries where You have dispersed them because of the disloyalty they have shown toward You.

Do not give the life of Your dove to beasts; do not forget the lives of Your poor people forever.

The sacrifice of the wicked is detestable to the Lord, but the prayer of the upright is His delight.

After this I looked, and there was a vast multitude from every nation, tribe, people, and language, which no one could number, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were robed in white with palm branches in their hands.And they cried out in a loud voice: Salvation belongs to our God, who is seated on the throne, and to the Lamb!

Instead, it should consist of what is inside the heart with the imperishable quality of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is very valuable in God’s eyes.

Now to Him who is able to protect you from stumbling and to make you stand in the presence of His glory, blameless and with great joy,

He did this to present the church to Himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or anything like that, but holy and blameless.

How beautiful you are, my darling. How very beautiful! Your eyes are doves.

As to the terror you cause, your presumptuous heart has deceived you. You who live in the clefts of the rock, you who occupy the mountain summit, though you elevate your nest like the eagle, even from there I will bring you down. This is the Lord’s declaration.

Each of the four living creatures had six wings; they were covered with eyes around and inside. Day and night they never stop, saying: Holy, holy, holy, Lord God, the Almighty, who was, who is, and who is coming.Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor, and thanks to the One seated on the throne, the One who lives forever and ever,the 24 elders fall down before the One seated on the throne, worship the One who lives forever and ever, cast their crowns before the throne, and say:

Who are these who fly like a cloud, like doves to their shelters?

Then I said: Woe is me for I am ruined because I am a man of unclean lips and live among a people of unclean lips, and because my eyes have seen the King, the Lord of Hosts.

But You are holy, enthroned on the praises of Israel.

Whoever sacrifices a thank offering honors Me, and whoever orders his conduct, I will show him the salvation of God.”

and the king will desire your beauty. Bow down to him, for he is your lord.

If you do not know, most beautiful of women, follow the tracks of the flock, and pasture your young goats near the shepherds’ tents.

While you lie among the sheepfolds, the wings of a dove are covered with silver, and its feathers with glistening gold.

They will go into the caves of the rocks and the crevices in the cliffs, away from the terror of the Lord and from His majestic splendor, when He rises to terrify the earth.

But now He has reconciled you by His physical body through His death, to present you holy, faultless, and blameless before Him—

When He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the 24 elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and gold bowls filled with incense, which are the prayers of the saints.

After Jesus was baptized, He went up immediately from the water. The heavens suddenly opened for Him, and He saw the Spirit of God descending like a dove and coming down on Him.

The survivors among them will escape and live on the mountains like doves of the valley, all of them moaning, each over his own iniquity.

Your presumptuous heart has deceived you, you who live in clefts of the rock in your home on the heights, who say to yourself,“ Who can bring me down to the ground?”

let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, our hearts sprinkled clean from an evil conscience and our bodies washed in pure water.

Your people will volunteer on Your day of battle. In holy splendor, from the womb of the dawn, the dew of Your youth belongs to You.

Sacrifice a thank offering to God, and pay your vows to the Most High.Call on Me in a day of trouble; I will rescue you, and you will honor Me.”
