波阿斯说：“你从拿俄米手中买这地的时候，也当娶死人的妻摩押女子路得，使死人在产业上存留他的名。”

波阿斯说：“你从拿娥米和摩押女子路得手中买这地的时候，也当买死人的妻子，使死人在产业上留名。”

波阿斯说：“你从拿娥米和摩押女子路得手中买这地的时候，也当买死人的妻子，使死人在产业上留名。”

波阿斯说：“那么，你从拿俄米手中买地的那天，也要娶已死之人的妻子摩押女子路得，好让死者继续在产业上留名。”

波阿斯说：“你从拿俄米手中买下那块地的时候，你也得娶（“娶”原文作“买”）已死的人的妻子摩押女子路得，使已死的人的名字留在他的产业上。”

接着波阿斯说：“你从娜娥米的手中取得这块田的那天，你也得了那死者的妻子摩押女子路得，好使那死者在继业上立名。”

波阿斯說：「你從拿俄米手中買這地的時候，也當娶死人的妻摩押女子路得，使死人在產業上存留他的名。」

波阿斯說：「你從拿娥米和摩押女子路得手中買這地的時候，也當買死人的妻子，使死人在產業上留名。」

波阿斯說：「那麼，你從拿俄米手中買地的那天，也要娶已死之人的妻子摩押女子路得，好讓死者繼續在產業上留名。」

波阿斯說：“你從拿俄米手中買下那塊地的時候，你也得娶（“娶”原文作“買”）已死的人的妻子摩押女子路得，使已死的人的名字留在他的產業上。”

波阿斯說：『那麼、你從拿俄米手中買這田地的那一天，也該買娶死者的妻摩押女子路得，好讓死者的名得以在他的產業上立起來。』

接著波阿斯說：「你從娜娥米的手中取得這塊田的那天，你也得了那死者的妻子摩押女子路得，好使那死者在繼業上立名。」

波阿斯曰、爾由拿俄米手購田之日、亦由死者之婦、摩押女路得而購之、俾承其業、以繼死者之名、

波士曰爾欲購田、必購於拿阿米、亦必娶死者之遺婦、摩押女路得、育嗣而承業、以繼死者之名。

波阿斯曰、爾於拿俄米手購田時、亦當娶死者之妻摩押女路得、使死者有嗣、承其業、續其名、

Then Boaz said,“ On the day you buy the land from Naomi, you also acquire Ruth the Moabite, the dead man’s widow, in order to maintain the name of the dead with his property.”

Then Boaz said,“ When you buy the property from Naomi, you must also marry Ruth. She is from Moab and is the dead man’s widow. So you must marry her. That’s because his property must continue to belong to his family.”

Then Boaz said,“ The day you buy the field from the hand of Naomi, you also acquire Ruth the Moabite, the widow of the dead, in order to perpetuate the name of the dead in his inheritance.”

Then Boaz told him,“ Of course, your purchase of the land from Naomi also requires that you marry Ruth, the Moabite widow. That way she can have children who will carry on her husband’s name and keep the land in the family.”

Then Boaz said,“ On the day you buy the field from Naomi, you will acquire Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the deceased man, to perpetuate the man’s name on his property.”

Then Boaz said,“ On the day you buy the field from the hand of Naomi, you must also acquire Ruth the Moabitess, the widow of the deceased, in order to raise up the name of the deceased on his inheritance.”

Then Boaz said,“ On the day you buy the field from the hand of Naomi, you must also buy it from Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to perpetuate the name of the dead through his inheritance.”

Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy it also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Then Boaz said,“ On the day you buy the land from Naomi, you will also acquire Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the deceased man, to perpetuate the man’s name on his property.”

Then said Boaz, What day thou buyest the field of the hand of Naomi, thou must buy[ it] also of Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead upon his inheritance.

Then Boaz said,“ When you acquire the field from Naomi, you must also acquire Ruth the Moabite, the wife of our deceased relative, in order to preserve his family name by raising up a descendant who will inherit his property.”

Then Boaz said,“ On the day you buy the field from the hand of Naomi, you must buy it also from Ruth the Moabitess, the wife of the dead, to raise up the name of the dead on his inheritance.”

「兄弟住在一起，若其中一個死了，沒有兒子，死者的妻子就不可出去嫁給陌生人。她丈夫的兄弟應當盡兄弟的本分，娶她為妻，與她同房。婦人生的長子要歸在已故兄弟的名下，免得他的名在以色列中塗去了。

猶大對俄南說：「你當與你哥哥的妻子同房，向她盡你的本分，為你哥哥生子立後。」

「老師，摩西說：『某人若死了，沒有孩子，他弟弟該娶他的妻子，為哥哥生子立後。』

現在，我的確是一個可以贖你產業的至親，可是還有一個人比我更親。你今夜在這裏住宿，明早他若肯為你盡至親的本分，很好，就由他吧！倘若他不肯，我指着永生的耶和華起誓，我必為你盡上至親的本分。你只管躺到早晨。」

「老師，摩西為我們寫下這話：『某人的哥哥若死了，有妻無子，他該娶哥哥的妻子，為哥哥生子立後。』
