拿俄米对媳妇说：“愿不断施慈爱给活人和死人的耶和华赐福给他。”拿俄米又对她说：“这个人是我们的亲人，有买赎权的一位近亲。”

娜娥米对她的儿媳妇说：“愿他蒙耶和华祝福！耶和华的慈爱没有离开活人和死人。”娜娥米又对她说：“那个人是我们的亲戚，是我们的一位有赎回权的近亲。”

拿俄米對兒婦說：「願那人蒙耶和華賜福，因為他不斷地恩待活人死人。」拿俄米又說：「那是我們本族的人，是一個至近的親屬。」

娜娥米對她的兒媳婦說：「願他蒙耶和華祝福！耶和華的慈愛沒有離開活人和死人。」娜娥米又對她說：「那個人是我們的親戚，是我們的一位有贖回權的近親。」

拿俄米謂媳曰、彼施恩於存者亡者弗輟、願耶和華錫嘏之、又曰、其人為我近戚、可贖我產者、此其一也、

拿阿米曰、彼施恩於存者、亦不遺亡者、願耶和華錫嘏焉。又曰、彼與我為戚屬、得贖我產者、此其一也。

拿俄米謂媳曰、願其人蒙主賜福、彼施恩於存者亡者、又曰、彼與我為親屬、可贖我業者、此其一也、

“ The Lord bless him!” Naomi said to her daughter-in-law.“ He has not stopped showing his kindness to the living and the dead.” She added,“ That man is our close relative; he is one of our guardian-redeemers.”

“ May the Lord bless him!” Naomi said to her daughter- in- law.“ The Lord is still being kind to those who are living and those who are dead.” She continued,“ That man is a close relative of ours. He’s one of our family protectors.”

And Naomi said to her daughter-in-law,“ May he be blessed by the Lord, whose kindness has not forsaken the living or the dead!” Naomi also said to her,“ The man is a close relative of ours, one of our redeemers.”

“ May the Lord bless him!” Naomi told her daughter in law.“ He is showing his kindness to us as well as to your dead husband. That man is one of our closest relatives, one of our family redeemers.”

Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law,“ May the LORD bless him because he has not abandoned his kindness to the living or the dead.” Naomi continued,“ The man is a close relative. He is one of our family redeemers.”

Naomi said to her daughter in law,“ May he be blessed of the Lord who has not withdrawn His kindness from the living and from the dead.” Again Naomi said to her,“ The man is our relative; he is one of our redeemers.”

Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law,“ Blessed be he of the Lord, who has not forsaken His kindness to the living and the dead!” And Naomi said to her,“ This man is a relation of ours, one of our close relatives.”

And Naomi said unto her daughter- in- law, Blessed be he of Jehovah, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man is nigh of kin unto us, one of our near kinsmen.

Then Naomi said to her daughter-in-law,“ May he be blessed by the Lord, who has not forsaken his kindness to the living or the dead.” Naomi continued,“ The man is a close relative. He is one of our family redeemers.”

And Naomi said unto her daughter in law, Blessed[ be] he of the LORD, who hath not left off his kindness to the living and to the dead. And Naomi said unto her, The man[ is] near of kin unto us, one of our next kinsmen.

Naomi said to her daughter-in-law,“ May he be rewarded by the LORD because he has shown loyalty to the living on behalf of the dead!” Then Naomi said to her,“ This man is a close relative of ours; he is our guardian.”

Naomi said to her daughter- in- law,“ May he be blessed by Yahweh, who has not abandoned his kindness to the living and to the dead.” Naomi said to her,“ The man is a close relative to us, one of our near kinsmen.”

“ Who are you?” he asked.“ I am your servant Ruth,” she said.“ Spread the corner of your garment over me, since you are a guardian- redeemer of our family.”“ The Lord bless you, my daughter,” he replied.“ This kindness is greater than that which you showed earlier: You have not run after the younger men, whether rich or poor. he sent messengers to them to say to them,“ The Lord bless you for showing this kindness to Saul your master by burying him. (niv)

If brothers are living together and one of them dies without a son, his widow must not marry outside the family. Her husband’s brother shall take her and marry her and fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to her.The first son she bears shall carry on the name of the dead brother so that his name will not be blotted out from Israel.However, if a man does not want to marry his brother’s wife, she shall go to the elders at the town gate and say,“ My husband’s brother refuses to carry on his brother’s name in Israel. He will not fulfill the duty of a brother-in-law to me.” (niv)

“‘ If one of your fellow Israelites becomes poor and sells some of their property, their nearest relative is to come and redeem what they have sold. (niv)

A friend loves at all times, and a brother is born for a time of adversity. (niv)

I rejoiced greatly in the Lord that at last you renewed your concern for me. Indeed, you were concerned, but you had no opportunity to show it. (niv)

At this, the guardian-redeemer said,“ Then I cannot redeem it because I might endanger my own estate. You redeem it yourself. I cannot do it.” (niv)

I know that my redeemer lives, and that in the end he will stand on the earth. (niv)

The women said to Naomi:“ Praise be to the Lord, who this day has not left you without a guardian-redeemer. May he become famous throughout Israel! (niv)

May the Lord show mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chains.On the contrary, when he was in Rome, he searched hard for me until he found me.May the Lord grant that he will find mercy from the Lord on that day! You know very well in how many ways he helped me in Ephesus. (niv)

because I rescued the poor who cried for help, and the fatherless who had none to assist them.The one who was dying blessed me; I made the widow’s heart sing. (niv)

David asked,“ Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan’s sake?” (niv)
