波阿斯回答她說：『自從你丈夫死後，你怎樣待你婆婆，怎樣離開你父母以及你出生之地，到這素不認識的族民中來：這一切事、人都一一告訴我了。

波阿斯回答她，说：“你的丈夫去世以后，你为你婆婆所做的一切，以及你怎样离开你的父母和本族之地，来到从前不认识的人中，这些我都一一听说了。

Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband— how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before.

Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about you. I’ve heard about everything you have done for your mother- in- law since your husband died. I know that you left your father and mother. I know that you left your country. You came to live with people you didn’t know before.

But Boaz answered her,“ All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.

“ Yes, I know,” Boaz replied.“ But I also know about everything you have done for your mother in law since the death of your husband. I have heard how you left your father and mother and your own land to live here among complete strangers.

Boaz answered her,“ Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and your native land, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know.

Boaz replied to her,“ All that you have done for your mother in law after the death of your husband has been fully reported to me, and how you left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and came to a people that you did not previously know.

And Boaz answered and said to her,“ It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been showed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother- in- law since the death of thy husband; and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people that thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz answered her,“ Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and the land of your birth, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and[ how] thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz replied to her,“ I have been given a full report of all that you have done for your mother-in-law following the death of your husband– how you left your father and your mother, as well as your homeland, and came to live among people you did not know previously.

Boaz answered her,“ I have been told all about what you have done for your mother- in- law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father, your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn’t know before.

耶穌對他們說：『我實在告訴你們，人為了上帝的國撇下了房屋、或妻子、或弟兄、或父母、或兒女、沒有不在現今這時期得到許多倍、而在來世得永生的。』

所以這樣：你們各人、凡不跟自己的一切資財訣絕的，都不能做我的門徒。

兩個兒媳婦又放聲而哭；俄珥巴和婆婆親嘴而別，路得卻緊跟着婆婆。拿俄米說：『看哪，你嫂子已經回她族人和她所拜的神那裏去了；你也跟着你嫂子回去吧。』路得說：『不要催我離開你而回去、不跟着你；你往哪裏去，我也往哪裏去；你在哪裏住宿，我也在哪裏住宿；你的族人就是我的族人；你的上帝就是我的上帝；你在哪裏死，我也在哪裏死，也埋葬在哪裏；除了死以外，若有甚麼使你我相分離，願永恆主這樣懲罰我，並且加倍地懲罰。』拿俄米見路得堅決要跟自己去，就停止不對她說甚麼了。於是二人同行，來到伯利恆。她們到了伯利恆，全城都因他們而震動起來；婦女們說：『這是拿俄米麼？』拿俄米對他們說：『不要叫我拿俄米，要叫我瑪拉；因為全能者使我苦極了。我滿滿地出去，永恆主使我空空地回來；永恆主使我受苦，全能者降禍於我，你們為甚麼還叫我拿俄米呢？』拿俄米回來，她的兒媳婦、摩押的女子路得、和她一同來，是從摩押鄉間回來的。她們來到伯利恆、正是開始割大麥的時候。

女子啊，你要聽，要看，要傾耳以聽；務要忘掉你本族之民和你父的家；

因着信、摩西長大的時候、拒絕稱為法老女兒的兒子；寧可選擇跟上帝的子民同受虐待，也不願意有罪惡中暫時的享受。因為他看被膏者所要受的辱罵、比埃及的寶藏為更大的財富：他轉臉注視着那賞報。

他們把兩隻船攏了岸，就撇下一切，跟從耶穌。

要將你的行程輥交於永恆主，倚靠他，他就去作。他必使你的理直如光發出，使你的案件明如中午。

因着信、亞伯拉罕蒙了召，就聽從而出去，到他將要受為基業的地方去；他出去，不知道要往哪裏去！因着信、他僑居在應許之地做外人，在帳棚裏居住；跟同做後嗣而承受這同一應許的以撒雅各在一起；

說「你的罪赦了」，或是說「你起來，走路吧！」，哪一樣容易呢？

拿俄米說：『我女兒們哪，回去吧！為甚麼要跟我去呢？難道我腹中還有兒子可以給你們做丈夫麼？
