波阿斯回答她說：『自從你丈夫死後，你怎樣待你婆婆，怎樣離開你父母以及你出生之地，到這素不認識的族民中來：這一切事、人都一一告訴我了。

波阿斯曰、自爾夫沒後、爾於爾姑所為、並離父母故土、至素所未識之民中、是事人悉告我、

波士曰、自夫沒後、爾善待姑、離父母故土、至所未識之國、一切之事、有人告我。

波阿斯曰、自爾夫卒後、爾善待爾姑、離父母故土、至素未識之國、此一切事有人告我、

Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about what you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband— how you left your father and mother and your homeland and came to live with a people you did not know before.

Boaz replied,“ I’ve been told all about you. I’ve heard about everything you have done for your mother- in- law since your husband died. I know that you left your father and mother. I know that you left your country. You came to live with people you didn’t know before.

But Boaz answered her,“ All that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband has been fully told to me, and how you left your father and mother and your native land and came to a people that you did not know before.

“ Yes, I know,” Boaz replied.“ But I also know about everything you have done for your mother in law since the death of your husband. I have heard how you left your father and mother and your own land to live here among complete strangers.

Boaz answered her,“ Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and your native land, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know.

Boaz replied to her,“ All that you have done for your mother in law after the death of your husband has been fully reported to me, and how you left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and came to a people that you did not previously know.

And Boaz answered and said to her,“ It has been fully reported to me, all that you have done for your mother-in-law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father and your mother and the land of your birth, and have come to a people whom you did not know before.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been showed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother- in- law since the death of thy husband; and how thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people that thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz answered her,“ Everything you have done for your mother-in-law since your husband’s death has been fully reported to me: how you left your father and mother and the land of your birth, and how you came to a people you didn’t previously know.

And Boaz answered and said unto her, It hath fully been shewed me, all that thou hast done unto thy mother in law since the death of thine husband: and[ how] thou hast left thy father and thy mother, and the land of thy nativity, and art come unto a people which thou knewest not heretofore.

Boaz replied to her,“ I have been given a full report of all that you have done for your mother-in-law following the death of your husband– how you left your father and your mother, as well as your homeland, and came to live among people you did not know previously.

Boaz answered her,“ I have been told all about what you have done for your mother- in- law since the death of your husband, and how you have left your father, your mother, and the land of your birth, and have come to a people that you didn’t know before.

耶穌對他們說：「我確實地告訴你們：沒有誰為神國的緣故捨棄房屋，或妻子，或兄弟，或父母，或兒女，而不會在今世得到許多倍，在來世得到永恆生命的。」

同樣，你們當中任何人，如果不向自己所擁有的一切告別，就不能做我的門徒。

她們又放聲大哭；娥珥巴吻別了她的婆婆，但路得卻緊跟著娜娥米。娜娥米說：「看哪，你嫂子已經回到她的族人和她的神那裡去了，你也隨著你嫂子回去吧！」路得就說：「不要催我離開你，也不要催我回去，不讓我跟隨你；因為你去哪裡，我也去哪裡；你在哪裡過夜，我也在哪裡過夜；你的族人就是我的族人；你的神就是我的神；你死在哪裡，我也死在哪裡、葬在哪裡。除了死以外，如果有什麼使你我分離，就願耶和華處置我，重重地處置我！」娜娥米看見路得已經決意要與她一同走，就不再對她說什麼了。於是她們兩個人繼續走，一直來到伯利恆。她們來到伯利恆的時候，整個城都因她們轟動了；婦女們說：「這是娜娥米嗎？」娜娥米對她們說：「不要叫我娜娥米，要叫我瑪拉，因為全能者使我受盡苦痛；我滿滿地出去，但耶和華使我空空地回來；既然耶和華證實了我的不是，全能者向我降下了災禍，你們為什麼還叫我娜娥米呢？」這樣，娜娥米回來了——她的兒媳婦摩押女子路得也與她一起從摩押地回來了。她們在大麥開始收割的時候來到了伯利恆。

女兒啊，你要聽、要看、要側耳聽——你當忘記你的民和你的父家！

因著信，摩西長大以後，拒絕被稱為法老女兒的兒子。他寧願選擇與神的子民同受虐待，也不願享受暫時的罪中之樂。他把為基督受的責罵看做是比埃及的財寶更大的財富，因為他注目那將來的報償。

他們把兩條船靠了岸，捨棄一切跟從了耶穌。

當把你的道路交託耶和華；當依靠他，他就成全；他將使你的公義如光發出，使你的公正明如正午。

因著信，亞伯拉罕蒙召的時候，就順從出發，往他將要得為繼業的地方去。他出發的時候，還不知道往哪裡去。因著信，他做為外人客居在應許之地，住在帳幕裡，與同一個應許的共同繼承人以撒、雅各一樣，

或說『你的罪孽已經被赦免了』，或說『你起來走路』，哪一樣更容易呢？

娜娥米說：「我的女兒們哪，回去吧！為什麼要與我一起走呢？難道我腹中還有兒子將來可以作你們的丈夫嗎？
