不第此也、尚有莉百嘉者、從吾祖依灑格而懷雙胎。

以撒因他妻子不生育，就為她祈求耶和華。耶和華應允他的祈求，他的妻子利百加就懷了孕。胎兒們在她腹中彼此相爭，她就說：「若是如此，我為甚麼會這樣呢？」她就去求問耶和華。耶和華對她說：兩國在你腹中；兩族要從你身上分立。這族必強於那族；將來大的要服侍小的。

不但如此，我們既藉着我們的主耶穌基督得以與上帝和好，也就藉着他以上帝為樂。
