不第此也、我儕獲聖神之初實者、亦中心太息、以俟得成為子、即我身之贖焉、

不第此、我儕初得聖神者、亦心歎望眾子之顯、吾身之贖焉、

不第此也、即我儕已得聖神之初果者、中心自歎、望得義子之位、即我身之贖也、

不惟萬物為然、即在新受聖神妙果之吾人、亦莫不呻吟嘆息於心靈深處、而以如飢若渴之情緒、期待兒女身分之完成、即肉身之被贖是已。

Not only so, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for our adoption to sonship, the redemption of our bodies.

And that’s not all. We have the Holy Spirit as the promise of future blessing. But we also groan inside ourselves. We do this as we look forward to the time when God adopts us as full members of his family. Then he will give us everything he has for us. He will raise our bodies and give glory to them.

And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies.

And we believers also groan, even though we have the Holy Spirit within us as a foretaste of future glory, for we long for our bodies to be released from sin and suffering. We, too, wait with eager hope for the day when God will give us our full rights as his adopted children, including the new bodies he has promised us.

Not only that, but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits— we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.

And not only that, but also we ourselves, having the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting eagerly for our adoption as sons and daughters, the redemption of our body.

Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

And not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first- fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for our adoption, to wit, the redemption of our body.

And not only that, but we ourselves who have the Spirit as the firstfruits— we also groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for adoption, the redemption of our bodies.

And not only[ they], but ourselves also, which have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for the adoption,[ to wit], the redemption of our body.

Not only this, but we ourselves also, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we eagerly await our adoption, the redemption of our bodies.

Not only so, but ourselves also, who have the first fruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, waiting for adoption, the redemption of our body.

照樣，基督為了擔當眾人的罪孽，也被獻上一次；將來還要再一次顯現，不是為了罪，而是為了使那些熱切等待他的人得到救恩。

被造之物都熱切盼望、熱切等待著神的兒女顯現出來，

聖靈是我們得繼業的預付憑據，直到屬神的子民得贖，歸於他榮耀的稱讚。

我這個人真是可悲呀！誰能救我脫離這屬於死亡的身體呢？

然而，我們的國籍在天上；我們也熱切等待著救主——主耶穌基督從那裡降臨。他將照著那能使萬有都服從他的力量，改變我們這卑賤的身體，要與他那榮耀的身體相似。

實際上，我們就是在這帳篷裡呻吟嘆息，切切地想穿上我們那從天上而來的居所。如果真的穿上，我們將來被看見時，就不是赤身的。原來我們在這帳篷裡的人，承受著壓力，甚至呻吟嘆息；不是因為想要脫下，而是想要穿上，好讓這會死的被生命所吞沒。為此而預備我們的就是神；他賜給我們聖靈做為預付憑據。

要知道，我們藉著聖靈，本於信，滿懷著稱義的盼望；

因為對我來說，活著就是基督，死去就有益處。但如果我繼續活在世上，這就使我有工作的成果，於是我不明白該怎樣選擇了。我正處在兩難之間：我渴望離世與基督在一起，因為這是好得無比的；

事實上，他們再也不會死，因為就與天使一樣；他們既然是復活的兒女，就是神的兒女了。

這些事一開始發生，你們就當挺起身、抬起頭，因為你們的救贖近了。」

就是說，你們所領受的不是一個奴役的靈，使你們再有懼怕；相反，你們所領受的是使你們有兒子名份的聖靈——藉著他，我們呼叫：「阿爸！父啊！」聖靈親自與我們的靈一同作證：我們是神的兒女。

但如果我們盼望那看不見的，就要藉著忍耐來熱切等待。況且，聖靈也照樣扶助我們的軟弱。事實上，我們不知道該禱告什麼、如何禱告，但聖靈卻親自用說不出的嘆息，為我們代求。

期待那蒙福的盼望，以及我們那偉大的神、救主耶穌基督榮耀的顯現。

好讓你們的信仰經過考驗，就比那被火煉過仍然會朽壞的金子更加寶貴，能在耶穌基督顯現的時候，被看為是可以得著稱讚、榮耀和尊貴的。

不要讓神的聖靈憂傷；你們蒙了他的印記，直到得贖的日子。

而這盼望不使人羞愧，因為神的愛藉著所賜給我們的聖靈，已經傾注在我們的心裡。

原來屬於光的果子，就是一切良善、公義、真理；

然而，聖靈的果子是：愛心、喜樂、和平、忍耐、仁慈、良善、忠信、溫柔、自制。這樣的事，沒有律法反對。

實際上，我們以前到馬其頓省的時候，不但身體得不到安寧，也處處受患難，外有爭戰，內有懼怕。

此後，有那公義的冠冕為我存留，就是主——公義的審判者要在那一天回報給我的；不僅給我，也要給所有愛慕他顯現的人。
