Be strong and courageous, for the Lord will do this to all your enemies with whom you fight.”

But as for me, I will wait continually, And will praise You yet more and more.

When evildoers came upon me to devour my flesh, My adversaries and my enemies, they stumbled and fell.If an army encamps against me, My heart will not fear; If war arises against me, In spite of this I am confident.

For whatever was written in earlier times was written for our instruction, so that through perseverance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
