The result of God’s gift is different from the result of Adam’s sin. That one sin brought God’s judgment. But after many sins, God’s gift made people right with him.

而且，恩赐不同于由一个人犯罪而来的后果。因为，由一次过犯而来的审判虽然导致了定罪，但由很多过犯而来的恩赐却导致了称义。

而且，恩賜不同於由一個人犯罪而來的後果。因為，由一次過犯而來的審判雖然導致了定罪，但由很多過犯而來的恩賜卻導致了稱義。

且以一人干罪、亦不如恩賜、蓋鞫由一人以致定罪、恩賜則由多愆以致見義也、

定擬由一人之罪、不如恩賜由一人之義、蓋審判由一罪以定擬、恩賜則多罪而稱義、

又一人犯罪之所致、不如恩賜、蓋由一人之愆、有審判以定罪、由恩賜、乃免多愆以稱義、

且恩賜之效、不僅抵銷一原罪而已。蓋審判雖據一罪而定讞、而慈恩則免眾罪以成義。

Nor can the gift of God be compared with the result of one man’s sin: The judgment followed one sin and brought condemnation, but the gift followed many trespasses and brought justification.

And the free gift is not like the result of that one man’s sin. For the judgment following one trespass brought condemnation, but the free gift following many trespasses brought justification.

And the result of God’s gracious gift is very different from the result of that one man’s sin. For Adam’s sin led to condemnation, but God’s free gift leads to our being made right with God, even though we are guilty of many sins.

And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment, resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification.

The gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned; for on the one hand the judgment arose from one offense, resulting in condemnation, but on the other hand the gracious gift arose from many offenses, resulting in justification.

And the gift is not like that which came through the one who sinned. For the judgment which came from one offense resulted in condemnation, but the free gift which came from many offenses resulted in justification.

And not as through one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment came of one unto condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses unto justification.

And the gift is not like the one man’s sin, because from one sin came the judgment, resulting in condemnation, but from many trespasses came the gift, resulting in justification.

And not as[ it was] by one that sinned,[ so is] the gift: for the judgment[ was] by one to condemnation, but the free gift[ is] of many offences unto justification.

And the gift is not like the one who sinned. For judgment, resulting from the one transgression, led to condemnation, but the gracious gift from the many failures led to justification.

The gift is not as through one who sinned; for the judgment came by one to condemnation, but the free gift came of many trespasses to justification.

“ My friends, here is what I want you to know. I announce to you that your sins can be forgiven because of what Jesus has done.Through him everyone who believes is set free from every sin. Moses’ law could not make you right in God’s eyes.

The woman saw that the tree’s fruit was good to eat and pleasing to look at. She also saw that it would make a person wise. So she took some of the fruit and ate it. She also gave some to her husband, who was with her. And he ate it.Then both of them knew things they had never known before. They realized they were naked. So they sewed together fig leaves and made clothes for themselves.Then the man and his wife heard the Lord God walking in the garden. It was during the coolest time of the day. They hid from the Lord God among the trees of the garden.But the Lord God called out to the man.“ Where are you?” he asked.“ I heard you in the garden,” the man answered.“ I was afraid, because I was naked. So I hid.”The Lord God said,“ Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten fruit from the tree I commanded you not to eat from?”The man said,“ It’s the fault of the woman you put here with me. She gave me some fruit from the tree. And I ate it.”Then the Lord God said to the woman,“ What have you done?” The woman said,“ The serpent tricked me. That’s why I ate the fruit.”So the Lord God spoke to the serpent. He said,“ Because you have done this,“ You are set apart from all livestock and all wild animals. I am putting a curse on you. You will crawl on your belly. You will eat dust all the days of your life.I will make you and the woman hate each other. Your children and her children will be enemies. Her son will crush your head. And you will bite his heel.”The Lord God said to the woman,“ I will increase your pain when you give birth. You will be in great pain when you have children. You will long for your husband. And he will rule over you.”The Lord God said to Adam,“ You listened to your wife’s suggestion. You ate fruit from the tree I warned you about. I said,‘ You must not eat its fruit.’“ So I am putting a curse on the ground because of what you did. All the days of your life you will have to work hard. It will be painful for you to get food from the ground.You will eat plants from the field, even though the ground produces thorns and prickly weeds.You will have to work hard and sweat a lot to produce the food you eat. You were made out of the ground. You will return to it when you die. You are dust, and you will return to dust.”

Don’t you know that people who do wrong will not receive God’s kingdom? Don’t be fooled. Those who commit sexual sins will not receive the kingdom. Neither will those who worship statues of gods or commit adultery. Neither will men who sleep with other men.Neither will thieves or those who always want more and more. Neither will those who are often drunk or tell lies or cheat. People who live like that will not receive God’s kingdom.Some of you used to do those things. But your sins were washed away. You were made holy. You were made right with God. All of this was done in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. It was also done by the Spirit of our God.

“ Come. Let us settle this matter,” says the Lord.“ Even though your sins are bright red, they will be as white as snow. Even though they are deep red, they will be white like wool.

When the Lord judges us in this way, he corrects us. Then in the end we will not be judged along with the rest of the world.

I used to speak evil things against Jesus. I tried to hurt his followers. I really pushed them around. But God showed me mercy anyway. I did those things without knowing any better. I wasn’t a believer.Our Lord poured out more and more of his grace on me. Along with it came faith and love from Christ Jesus.Here is a saying that you can trust. It should be accepted completely. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. And I am the worst sinner of all.But for that very reason, God showed me mercy. And I am the worst of sinners. He showed me mercy so that Christ Jesus could show that he is very patient. I was an example for those who would come to believe in him. Then they would receive eternal life.

“ I am the one who wipes out your lawless acts. I do it because of who I am. I will not remember your sins anymore.

So I tell you this. Her many sins have been forgiven. She has shown that she understands this by her great acts of love. But whoever has been forgiven only a little loves only a little.”Then Jesus said to her,“ Your sins are forgiven.”The other guests began to talk about this among themselves. They said,“ Who is this who even forgives sins?”Jesus said to the woman,“ Your faith has saved you. Go in peace.”

I will sweep your sins away as if they were a cloud. I will blow them away as if they were the morning mist. Return to me. Then I will set you free.”

Suppose you keep the whole law but trip over just one part of it. Then you are guilty of breaking all of it.

All who depend on obeying the law are under a curse. It is written,“ May everyone who doesn’t continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law be under God’s curse.”( Deuteronomy 27:26)
