But to him who does not work but believes on Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness,

惟有不做工的，只信称罪人为义的神，他的信就算为义。

但那不做工的，只信那位称不敬虔之人为义的，他的信就算为义。

但对于只信赦免罪人的上帝、不靠功劳的人，他的信就被算为义。

可是，那不作工而只信那称不敬虔的人为义的神的，他的信就算为义了。

正惟不以事功為言、而篤信赦罪之主、乃能因其信德而稱義耳。

However, to the one who does not work but trusts God who justifies the ungodly, their faith is credited as righteousness.

But things are different with God. He makes ungodly people right with himself. If people trust in him, their faith is accepted even though they do not work. Their faith makes them right with God.

And to the one who does not work but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is counted as righteousness,

But people are counted as righteous, not because of their work, but because of their faith in God who forgives sinners.

But to the one who does not work, but believes on him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited for righteousness.

But to the one who does not work, but believes in Him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is credited as righteousness,

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.

But to the one who does not work, but believes on Him who declares the ungodly to be righteous, his faith is credited for righteousness.

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.

But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.

and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith;

For we ourselves were also once foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving various lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful and hating one another.But when the kindness and the love of God our Savior toward man appeared,not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, through the washing of regeneration and renewing of the Holy Spirit,whom He poured out on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Savior,that having been justified by His grace we should become heirs according to the hope of eternal life.

even the righteousness of God, through faith in Jesus Christ, to all and on all who believe. For there is no difference;

that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

And the Scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, preached the gospel to Abraham beforehand, saying,“ In you all the nations shall be blessed.”So then those who are of faith are blessed with believing Abraham.For as many as are of the works of the law are under the curse; for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who does not continue in all things which are written in the book of the law, to do them.”But that no one is justified by the law in the sight of God is evident, for“ the just shall live by faith.”Yet the law is not of faith, but“ the man who does them shall live by them.”Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us( for it is written,“ Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”),that the blessing of Abraham might come upon the Gentiles in Christ Jesus, that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law but by faith in Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Christ Jesus, that we might be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law; for by the works of the law no flesh shall be justified.“ But if, while we seek to be justified by Christ, we ourselves also are found sinners, is Christ therefore a minister of sin? Certainly not!

Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God.And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

For they being ignorant of God’s righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

but also for us. It shall be imputed to us who believe in Him who raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead,who was delivered up because of our offenses, and was raised because of our justification.Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.

For what does the Scripture say?“ Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness.”

Therefore let it be known to you, brethren, that through this Man is preached to you the forgiveness of sins;and by Him everyone who believes is justified from all things from which you could not be justified by the law of Moses.

Jesus answered and said to them,“ This is the work of God, that you believe in Him whom He sent.”

“ Behold the proud, His soul is not upright in him; But the just shall live by his faith.

For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith to faith; as it is written,“ The just shall live by faith.”For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

“ Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life.

For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly.For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die.But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

to demonstrate at the present time His righteousness, that He might be just and the justifier of the one who has faith in Jesus.Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? Of works? No, but by the law of faith.Therefore we conclude that a man is justified by faith apart from the deeds of the law.Or is He the God of the Jews only? Is He not also the God of the Gentiles? Yes, of the Gentiles also,since there is one God who will justify the circumcised by faith and the uncircumcised through faith.

Moreover whom He predestined, these He also called; whom He called, these He also justified; and whom He justified, these He also glorified.What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?Who shall bring a charge against God’s elect? It is God who justifies.Who is he who condemns? It is Christ who died, and furthermore is also risen, who is even at the right hand of God, who also makes intercession for us.

Now Joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and was standing before the Angel.Then He answered and spoke to those who stood before Him, saying,“ Take away the filthy garments from him.” And to him He said,“ See, I have removed your iniquity from you, and I will clothe you with rich robes.”

although I was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an insolent man; but I obtained mercy because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.And the grace of our Lord was exceedingly abundant, with faith and love which are in Christ Jesus.This is a faithful saying and worthy of all acceptance, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, of whom I am chief.

And Joshua said to all the people,“ Thus says the Lord God of Israel:‘ Your fathers, including Terah, the father of Abraham and the father of Nahor, dwelt on the other side of the River in old times; and they served other gods.
