He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

並且仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信心裏起疑惑，反倒因信心裏得堅固，將榮耀歸給神，

仍仰望上帝的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給上帝，

仍仰望神的應許，總沒有因不信而起疑惑，反倒因信而剛強，將榮耀歸給神，

他沒有因不信而懷疑上帝的應許，反倒信心更加堅定，將榮耀歸給上帝。

也沒有因著不信而疑惑神的應許，反倒堅信不移，把榮耀歸給神，

也沒有以不信之心去疑惑上帝的應許，反而在信心上得了能力而堅固，而將榮耀歸與上帝，

他也沒有因著不信去懷疑神的應許，反而因著信得以剛強，把榮耀歸給神，

且於上帝所許、不以不信而貳其心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

絕不疑上帝所應許、稍懷不信心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

不懷不信之心、疑天主所許者、其信益堅、歸榮天主、

一心惟主之恩諾是恃、毫無狐疑之意、

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God.

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,

yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,

Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in needs, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ’s sake. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

And it shall come to pass That just as you were a curse among the nations, O house of Judah and house of Israel, So I will save you, and you shall be a blessing. Do not fear, Let your hands be strong.’

Where am I to get meat to give to all these people? For they weep all over me, saying,‘ Give us meat, that we may eat.’I am not able to bear all these people alone, because the burden is too heavy for me.If You treat me like this, please kill me here and now— if I have found favor in Your sight— and do not let me see my wretchedness!”So the Lord said to Moses:“ Gather to Me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people and officers over them; bring them to the tabernacle of meeting, that they may stand there with you.Then I will come down and talk with you there. I will take of the Spirit that is upon you and will put the same upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you may not bear it yourself alone.Then you shall say to the people,‘ Consecrate yourselves for tomorrow, and you shall eat meat; for you have wept in the hearing of the Lord, saying,“ Who will give us meat to eat? For it was well with us in Egypt.” Therefore the Lord will give you meat, and you shall eat.You shall eat, not one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days,but for a whole month, until it comes out of your nostrils and becomes loathsome to you, because you have despised the Lord who is among you, and have wept before Him, saying,“ Why did we ever come up out of Egypt?”’”And Moses said,“ The people whom I am among are six hundred thousand men on foot; yet You have said,‘ I will give them meat, that they may eat for a whole month.’Shall flocks and herds be slaughtered for them, to provide enough for them? Or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to provide enough for them?”And the Lord said to Moses,“ Has the LORD’s arm been shortened? Now you shall see whether what I say will happen to you or not.”

Blessed is she who believed, for there will be a fulfillment of those things which were told her from the Lord.”

And he said,“ O man greatly beloved, fear not! Peace be to you; be strong, yes, be strong!” So when he spoke to me I was strengthened, and said,“ Let my Lord speak, for you have strengthened me.”

“ Now when I had delivered the purchase deed to Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed to the Lord, saying:‘ Ah, Lord GOD! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and outstretched arm. There is nothing too hard for You.You show lovingkindness to thousands, and repay the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them— the Great, the Mighty God, whose name is the Lord of hosts.You are great in counsel and mighty in work, for your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his doings.You have set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, to this day, and in Israel and among other men; and You have made Yourself a name, as it is this day.You have brought Your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs and wonders, with a strong hand and an outstretched arm, and with great terror;You have given them this land, of which You swore to their fathers to give them—“ a land flowing with milk and honey.”And they came in and took possession of it, but they have not obeyed Your voice or walked in Your law. They have done nothing of all that You commanded them to do; therefore You have caused all this calamity to come upon them.‘ Look, the siege mounds! They have come to the city to take it; and the city has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans who fight against it, because of the sword and famine and pestilence. What You have spoken has happened; there You see it!And You have said to me, O Lord God,“ Buy the field for money, and take witnesses”!— yet the city has been given into the hand of the Chaldeans.’”Then the word of the Lord came to Jeremiah, saying,“ Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for Me?

The head of Ephraim is Samaria, And the head of Samaria is Remaliah’s son. If you will not believe, Surely you shall not be established.”’”

Say to those who are fearful-hearted,“ Be strong, do not fear! Behold, your God will come with vengeance, With the recompense of God; He will come and save you.”

Then that officer had answered the man of God, and said,“ Now look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could such a thing be?” And he had said,“ In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

You therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

“ Thus says the Lord of hosts:‘ Let your hands be strong, You who have been hearing in these days These words by the mouth of the prophets, Who spoke in the day the foundation was laid For the house of the Lord of hosts, That the temple might be built.

And he said,“ Listen, all you of Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem, and you, King Jehoshaphat! Thus says the Lord to you:‘ Do not be afraid nor dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours, but God’s.Tomorrow go down against them. They will surely come up by the Ascent of Ziz, and you will find them at the end of the brook before the Wilderness of Jeruel.You will not need to fight in this battle. Position yourselves, stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, who is with you, O Judah and Jerusalem!’ Do not fear or be dismayed; tomorrow go out against them, for the Lord is with you.”And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground, and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord, worshiping the Lord.Then the Levites of the children of the Kohathites and of the children of the Korahites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with voices loud and high.So they rose early in the morning and went out into the Wilderness of Tekoa; and as they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said,“ Hear me, O Judah and you inhabitants of Jerusalem: Believe in the Lord your God, and you shall be established; believe His prophets, and you shall prosper.”

And Zacharias said to the angel,“ How shall I know this? For I am an old man, and my wife is well advanced in years.”

So an officer on whose hand the king leaned answered the man of God and said,“ Look, if the Lord would make windows in heaven, could this thing be?” And he said,“ In fact, you shall see it with your eyes, but you shall not eat of it.”

Yet now be strong, Zerubbabel,’ says the Lord;‘ and be strong, Joshua, son of Jehozadak, the high priest; and be strong, all you people of the land,’ says the Lord,‘ and work; for I am with you,’ says the Lord of hosts.

Now when the multitudes saw it, they marveled and glorified God, who had given such power to men.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.

Watch, stand fast in the faith, be brave, be strong.

Those who do wickedly against the covenant he shall corrupt with flattery; but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.
