He did not waver in unbelief about the promise of God but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God.

并且仰望神的应许，总没有因不信，心里起疑惑，反倒因信，心里得坚固，将荣耀归给神，

他沒有因不信而懷疑上帝的應許，反倒信心更加堅定，將榮耀歸給上帝。

也沒有因著不信而疑惑神的應許，反倒堅信不移，把榮耀歸給神，

也沒有以不信之心去疑惑上帝的應許，反而在信心上得了能力而堅固，而將榮耀歸與上帝，

他也沒有因著不信去懷疑神的應許，反而因著信得以剛強，把榮耀歸給神，

且於上帝所許、不以不信而貳其心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

絕不疑上帝所應許、稍懷不信心、惟信彌篤、歸榮上帝、

不懷不信之心、疑天主所許者、其信益堅、歸榮天主、

一心惟主之恩諾是恃、毫無狐疑之意、

Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

But Abraham kept believing in God’s promise. He became strong in his faith. He gave glory to God.

No unbelief made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,

Abraham never wavered in believing God’s promise. In fact, his faith grew stronger, and in this he brought glory to God.

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

yet, with respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God,

He did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief, but was strengthened in faith, giving glory to God,

yet, looking unto the promise of God, he wavered not through unbelief, but waxed strong through faith, giving glory to God,

He did not waver in unbelief at God’s promise but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God,

He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

Yet, looking to the promise of God, he didn’t waver through unbelief, but grew strong through faith, giving glory to God,

Therefore I am content with weaknesses, with insults, with troubles, with persecutions and difficulties for the sake of Christ, for whenever I am weak, then I am strong.

And it will come about that just as you( both Judah and Israel) were a curse to the nations, so I will save you and you will be a blessing. Do not be afraid! Instead, be strong!’

From where shall I get meat to give to this entire people, for they cry to me,‘ Give us meat, that we may eat!’I am not able to bear this entire people alone, because it is too heavy for me!But if you are going to deal with me like this, then kill me immediately. If I have found favor in your sight then do not let me see my trouble.”The LORD said to Moses,“ Gather to me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know are elders of the people and officials over them, and bring them to the tent of meeting; let them take their position there with you.Then I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take part of the spirit that is on you, and will put it on them, and they will bear some of the burden of the people with you, so that you do not bear it all by yourself.“ And say to the people,‘ Sanctify yourselves for tomorrow, and you will eat meat, for you have wept in the hearing of the LORD, saying,“ Who will give us meat to eat, for life was good for us in Egypt?” Therefore the LORD will give you meat, and you will eat.You will eat, not just one day, nor two days, nor five days, nor ten days, nor twenty days,but a whole month, until it comes out your nostrils and makes you sick, because you have despised the LORD who is among you and have wept before him, saying,“ Why did we ever come out of Egypt?”’”Moses said,“ The people around me are 600,000 on foot; but you say,‘ I will give them meat, that they may eat for a whole month.’Would they have enough if the flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? If all the fish of the sea were caught for them, would they have enough?”And the LORD said to Moses,“ Is the LORD’s hand shortened? Now you will see whether my word to you will come true or not!”

And blessed is she who believed that what was spoken to her by the Lord would be fulfilled.”

He said to me,“ Don’t be afraid, you who are valued. Peace be to you! Be strong! Be really strong!” When he spoke to me, I was strengthened. I said,“ Sir, you may speak now, for you have given me strength.”

“ After I had given the copies of the deed of purchase to Baruch son of Neriah, I prayed to the LORD,‘ Oh, Lord GOD, you did indeed make heaven and earth by your mighty power and great strength. Nothing is too hard for you!You show unfailing love to thousands. But you also punish children for the sins of their parents. You are the great and powerful God who is known as the LORD who rules over all.You plan great things and you do mighty deeds. You see everything people do. You reward each of them for the way they live and for the things they do.You did miracles and amazing deeds in the land of Egypt which have had lasting effect. By this means you gained both in Israel and among humankind a renown that lasts to this day.You used your mighty power and your great strength to perform miracles and amazing deeds and to bring great terror on the Egyptians. By this means you brought your people Israel out of the land of Egypt.You kept the promise that you swore on oath to their ancestors. You gave them a land flowing with milk and honey.But when they came in and took possession of it, they did not obey you or live as you had instructed them. They did not do anything that you commanded them to do. So you brought all this disaster on them.Even now siege ramps have been built up around the city in order to capture it. War, starvation, and disease are sure to make the city fall into the hands of the Babylonians who are attacking it. LORD, you threatened that this would happen. Now you can see that it is already taking place.The city is sure to fall into the hands of the Babylonians. Yet, in spite of this, you, Lord GOD, have said to me,“ Buy that field with silver and have the transaction legally witnessed.”’”The LORD answered Jeremiah.“ I am the LORD, the God of all humankind. There is, indeed, nothing too difficult for me.

Ephraim’s leader is Samaria, and Samaria’s leader is the son of Remaliah. If your faith does not remain firm, then you will not remain secure.”

Tell those who panic,“ Be strong! Do not fear! Look, your God comes to avenge! With divine retribution he comes to deliver you.”

But the officer replied to the prophet,“ Look, even if the LORD made it rain by opening holes in the sky, could this happen so soon?” Elisha said,“ Look, you will see it happen with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of the food!”

So you, my child, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus.

“ The LORD who rules over all also says,‘ Gather strength, you who are listening to these words today from the mouths of the prophets who were there at the founding of the house of the LORD who rules over all, so that the temple might be built.

He said:“ Pay attention, all you people of Judah, residents of Jerusalem, and King Jehoshaphat! This is what the LORD says to you:‘ Don’t be afraid and don’t panic because of this huge army! For the battle is not yours, but God’s.Tomorrow march down against them as they come up the Ascent of Ziz. You will find them at the end of the ravine in front of the Desert of Jeruel.You will not fight in this battle. Take your positions, stand, and watch the LORD deliver you, O Judah and Jerusalem. Don’t be afraid and don’t panic! Tomorrow march out toward them; the LORD is with you!’”Jehoshaphat bowed down with his face toward the ground, and all the people of Judah and the residents of Jerusalem fell down before the LORD and worshiped him.Then some Levites, from the Kohathites and Korahites, got up and loudly praised the LORD God of Israel.Early the next morning they marched out to the Desert of Tekoa. When they were ready to march, Jehoshaphat stood up and said:“ Listen to me, you people of Judah and residents of Jerusalem! Trust in the LORD your God and you will be safe! Trust in the message of his prophets and you will win.”

Zechariah said to the angel,“ How can I be sure of this? For I am an old man, and my wife is old as well.”

An officer who was the king’s right-hand man responded to the prophet,“ Look, even if the LORD made it rain by opening holes in the sky, could this happen so soon?” Elisha said,“ Look, you will see it happen with your own eyes, but you will not eat any of the food!”

Even so, take heart, Zerubbabel,’ says the LORD.‘ Take heart, Joshua son of Jehozadak, the high priest, and all you citizens of the land,’ says the LORD,‘ and begin to work. For I am with you,’ says the LORD who rules over all.

When the crowd saw this, they were afraid and honored God who had given such authority to men.

Finally, be strengthened in the Lord and in the strength of his power.

Stay alert, stand firm in the faith, show courage, be strong.

Then with smooth words he will defile those who have rejected the covenant. But the people who are loyal to their God will act valiantly.
