我就必定大大地賜福與你，必定使你的後裔大大增多，如同天上的星，如同海邊的沙；你的後裔必佔領仇敵的城。地上萬國都必用你後裔的名來給自己祝福，因為你聽了我的聲音。』

我必賜福與她，賜給你一個兒子由她而出：我必賜福與她，使她做多國之母；必有多族之民的王由她而出。』

權柄之杖必不離開猶大，指揮之棍必不離開他兩腿之間，直到屬他的那位來到，萬族之民都歸順他。
