而且他也成為受割禮之人的父，不僅為那些受了割禮的人，還為那些順著我們的先祖亞伯拉罕信心之腳蹤行走的人；亞伯拉罕的信心在他沒有受割禮的時候就已經有了。

又作受割礼之人的父，就是那些不但受割礼，并且按我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕未受割礼而信之踪迹去行的人。

也使他作受割礼之人的父，就是那些不但受割礼，而且跟随我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕未受割礼而信的足迹的人。

也使他作受割礼之人的父，就是那些不但受割礼，而且跟随我们的祖宗亚伯拉罕未受割礼而信的足迹的人。

他也做了受割礼之人的父。这些人不只是受了割礼，还跟随我们先祖亚伯拉罕的脚步，效法他在未受割礼时的信心。

又作受割礼之人的父，就是作那些不仅受割礼，并且照着我们祖宗亚伯拉罕未受割礼时就信的那脚踪而行之人的父。

而且他也成为受割礼之人的父，不仅为那些受了割礼的人，还为那些顺着我们的先祖亚伯拉罕信心之脚踪行走的人；亚伯拉罕的信心在他没有受割礼的时候就已经有了。

又作受割禮之人的父，就是作那些不僅受割禮，並且照著我們祖宗亞伯拉罕未受割禮時就信的那腳蹤而行之人的父。

也做受割禮的人的父，做那些不但受割禮、並且照我們祖宗亞伯拉罕沒受割禮時的信心之腳蹤而按規矩行的人的父。

亦為受割者之父、即不第自乎割、亦踐我父亞伯拉罕未割時而信之迹者也、

亦為受割者之父、彼不徒遵割禮、乃行其父亞伯拉罕未受割時而信之跡也、

亦為受割禮者之父、即不獨受割禮、且循吾祖亞伯拉罕未受割禮時、所有之信之跡而行者、

亦為既受割而能踵效其未割時所具之信德者之父也。

And he is then also the father of the circumcised who not only are circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

And Abraham is also the father of those who are circumcised and believe. So just being circumcised is not enough. Those who are circumcised must also follow the steps of our father Abraham. He had faith before he was circumcised.

and to make him the father of the circumcised who are not merely circumcised but who also walk in the footsteps of the faith that our father Abraham had before he was circumcised.

And Abraham is also the spiritual father of those who have been circumcised, but only if they have the same kind of faith Abraham had before he was circumcised.

And he became the father of the circumcised, who are not only circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith our father Abraham had while he was still uncircumcised.

and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also follow in the steps of the faith of our father Abraham which he had while uncircumcised.

and the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of the faith which our father Abraham had while still uncircumcised.

and the father of circumcision to them who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham which he had in uncircumcision.

And he became the father of the circumcised, who are not only circumcised but who also follow in the footsteps of the faith our father Abraham had while he was still uncircumcised.

He is the father of circumcision to those who not only are of the circumcision, but who also walk in the steps of that faith of our father Abraham, which he had in uncircumcision.

因為經上記著：亞伯拉罕有兩個兒子，一個出於女僕，一個出於自由女人。那出於女僕的是由肉體生的，那出於自由女人的是藉著應許生的。這些都是有寓意的。就是說，這兩個女人是兩個約。一個出於西奈山，生子為奴，她就是夏甲。這夏甲是指著阿拉伯的西奈山，相當於現在的耶路撒冷，因為耶路撒冷和她的兒女都是為奴的。但那在上面的耶路撒冷是自由女人；她是我們的母親。因為經上記著：「不能生育、沒有生產的女子啊，你要歡喜！沒有經歷臨產陣痛的女子啊，你要放聲呼喊！因為沒有丈夫的女子，比有丈夫的女子有更多的兒女。」不過弟兄們，你們就像以撒一樣，是應許的兒女。但正如那由肉體生的當時逼迫了那由聖靈生的，現在也是這樣。然而經上是怎麼說的呢？「把女僕和她的兒子趕出去！因為女僕的兒子，絕不可以與自由女人的兒子一同做繼承人。」因此，弟兄們，我們不是女僕的兒女，而是自由女人的兒女。

原來你們是為此蒙召的，因為基督也為你們受了苦害，給你們留下了榜樣，好讓你們追隨他的腳蹤。

你們不要心裡想『我們有亞伯拉罕為先祖。』我告訴你們：神能從這些石頭中給亞伯拉罕興起兒女來。

財主在陰間的痛苦中，舉目遠遠地望見亞伯拉罕，又望見拉撒路在他懷裡，就呼喚說：『我父亞伯拉罕，可憐我吧！請打發拉撒路用指頭蘸點水，涼一下我的舌頭吧，因為我在這火焰裡，極其痛苦！』「可是亞伯拉罕說：『孩子啊，你當想起，你一生怎樣享了你的福，而拉撒路怎樣受了苦；但如今他在這裡受到安慰，你卻在痛苦中。這一切之外，在我們和你們之間，隔著巨大的深淵，所以人想要從這邊過到你們那邊是不可能的，從那邊過到我們這邊也是不可能的。』「財主就說：『我父啊，那麼求你打發拉撒路到我父親家去，因為我有五個兄弟，讓他去鄭重地勸誡他們，免得他們也來到這痛苦的地方。』「但是亞伯拉罕說：『你的兄弟們有摩西和先知們，讓你的兄弟們聽從他們吧。』「財主卻說：『不，我父亞伯拉罕哪！其實如果有人從死人中復活，到他們那裡去，他們就會悔改。』「可是亞伯拉罕對他說：『如果他們不聽從摩西和先知們，就算有人從死人中復活，他們也不會被說服的。』

我鼓勵提多去，又打發那位弟兄與他一起去。難道提多對不起你們嗎？我們行事，難道不是同一個心靈嗎？難道不是同一個步調嗎？

他們回答說：「亞伯拉罕是我們的父！」耶穌說：「如果你們是亞伯拉罕的兒女，就會做亞伯拉罕所做的事。但如今，我把從神那裡所聽到的真理告訴了你們，你們就想殺我。亞伯拉罕沒有做過這種事。

但這並不是說神的話語落了空，因為由以色列所生的，並不都是以色列人；也不因為是亞伯拉罕的後裔，就都是他的兒女；只有「從以撒生的，才會被稱為你的後裔。」

你領悟了，就必行良善人的道，謹守義人的路。
