實際上，我們才是受過割禮的人，就是藉著神的靈事奉，在基督耶穌裡誇耀，不依靠肉體的人。

相反，我們怎樣被神考驗而受了福音的委託，我們就照樣傳講；不是要討人的喜悅，而是要討神的喜悅——神是考驗我們內心的。

而應該是心裡面內在的人，帶著不朽壞的品性，出於謙和、安靜的靈；這在神面前是極其貴重的。

因為那經過考驗的人，不是自我推薦的，而是主所推薦的。

所以時候沒有到，在主來臨之前，不要評斷任何事；主將照亮黑暗中隱祕的事，顯明人心裡的計劃。那時候，稱讚將從神那裡臨到各人。

但如今，我們既然在那捆綁我們的律法上死了，就脫離了律法，結果我們得以按照聖靈的新樣式來服事，而不按照律法條文的舊樣式。

並且，那生來沒有受割禮卻完全實行律法的人，對你這雖有律法條文和割禮卻違犯律法的人，難道不是要施行審判嗎？

你們彼此接受榮耀，卻不尋求從獨一的神而來的榮耀，那怎麼能信呢？

這是因為他們喜愛人的榮耀，勝過喜愛神的榮耀。

因為神的國不在於吃喝，而在於聖靈裡的公義、和睦、喜樂。

他也使我們能夠做新約的僕人——不屬於律法條文，而屬於聖靈；因為律法條文帶來死亡，而聖靈卻賜予生命。

主就對他說：「如今你們法利賽人洗淨杯子、盤子的外面，但你們裡面卻充滿著貪心和惡意。

「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們洗淨杯子、盤子的外面，裡面卻盛滿了貪心和放縱。你這瞎眼的法利賽人哪！當先洗淨杯子的裡面，好使外面也潔淨。「經文士和法利賽人哪，你們這些偽善的人有禍了！因為你們好像粉飾的墳墓，外面固然顯得美麗，裡面卻裝滿了死人骨頭和一切汙穢。你們也是這樣，你們外面對人顯出公義，裡面卻充滿了偽善和罪惡。

耶穌回答：「我確確實實地告訴你：一個人如果不是由水和聖靈所生的，就不能進入神的國。由肉體所生的，就是肉體；由聖靈所生的，就是靈。我說『你們必須重生』，你不要感到驚奇。風隨意而吹，你聽見風聲，卻不知道它從哪裡來，往哪裡去。所有由聖靈所生的，也是這樣。」

沒有人能說『看，在這裡！』或『在那裡！』因為看哪，神的國就在你們中間。」

但耶和華對撒母耳說：「不要看他的容貌和他的高大身材，其實我已經厭棄了他。因為我所看的不像人所看的；人是看眼所見的，耶和華是看內心。」

然而，時候就要到了，現在就是了！那時真正敬拜的人，要在靈裡和真理中敬拜父，因為父就是想要這樣的人來敬拜他。
