我們若死了，是為主而死。所以，我們無論活著或是死了，總是屬於主的人。

蓋吾人之生也、為主而生；死也、為主而死；生為主之徒、死為主之屬、如是而已矣。

If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

If we live, we live to honor the Lord. If we die, we die to honor the Lord. So whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord.

For if we live, we live to the Lord, and if we die, we die to the Lord. So then, whether we live or whether we die, we are the Lord’s.

我所熱切期待和盼望的，就是在凡事上我都不會羞愧，只要滿有膽量，不論生死，總要讓基督在我身上照常被尊為大。

基督替我們死，使我們無論是醒著或睡著，都和他一同活著。

只是各人要按著自己的次序：初熟的果子是基督，以後，在他來的時候，是那些屬基督的人。

保羅卻回答：“你們為甚麼哭，使我心碎呢？我為主耶穌的名，不但被捆綁，就算死在耶路撒冷我也都準備好了。”

即使把我澆奠在你們信心的祭物和供奉上，我也喜樂，並且和你們大家一同喜樂。

“大衛在他自己的世代裡，遵行了神的計劃，就睡了，歸回他列祖那裡，見了朽壞。

我們若信耶穌死了，又復活了，照樣，也應該相信那些靠著耶穌已經睡了的人，神必定把他們和耶穌一同帶來。我們現在照著主的話告訴你們：我們這些活著存留到主再來的人，絕不能在那些睡了的人以先。因為主必親自從天降臨，那時，有發令的聲音，有天使長的呼聲，還有神的號聲，那些在基督裡死了的人必先復活；然後，我們還活著存留的人，必和他們一同被提到雲裡，在空中與主相會。這樣，我們就要和主常常同在。所以，你們應該用這些話彼此勸慰。

我聽見從天上有聲音說：“你要寫下來！從今以後，那在主裡死去的人有福了！”聖靈說：“是的，他們脫離自己的勞苦，得享安息了，他們的作為也隨著他們。”

因他為了基督的工作，冒著生命的危險，差一點喪了命，為的是要補滿你們服事我不足的地方。

但我並不珍惜自己的性命，只求跑完我的路程，完成我從主耶穌所領受的職分，為神恩惠的福音作見證。

耶穌說這話，是指明彼得將怎樣死，來榮耀神。說了這話，就對彼得說：“你跟從我吧！”

無論是保羅，是亞波羅，是磯法，是世界，是生，是死，是現在的事，是將來的事，都是你們的。你們是屬基督的，基督是屬神的。
