守日者為主而守、不守者為主而不守、食者為主而食、因感謝天主、不食者為主而不食、亦感謝天主、

彼守日者、為主而守之也。食者為主而食、且致謝於天主焉；齋戒者為主而齋戒、亦致謝於天主焉。

Whoever regards one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.

Whoever thinks that one day is special does so to honor the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to honor the Lord. They give thanks to God. And whoever doesn’t eat meat does so to honor the Lord. They also give thanks to God.

The one who observes the day, observes it in honor of the Lord. The one who eats, eats in honor of the Lord, since he gives thanks to God, while the one who abstains, abstains in honor of the Lord and gives thanks to God.

Those who worship the Lord on a special day do it to honor him. Those who eat any kind of food do so to honor the Lord, since they give thanks to God before eating. And those who refuse to eat certain foods also want to please the Lord and give thanks to God.

Whoever observes the day, observes it for the honor of the Lord. Whoever eats, eats for the Lord, since he gives thanks to God; and whoever does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat it, and he gives thanks to God.

The one who observes the day, observes it for the Lord, and the one who eats, does so with regard to the Lord, for he gives thanks to God; and the one who does not eat, it is for the Lord that he does not eat, and he gives thanks to God.

He who observes the day, observes it to the Lord; and he who does not observe the day, to the Lord he does not observe it. He who eats, eats to the Lord, for he gives God thanks; and he who does not eat, to the Lord he does not eat, and gives God thanks.

我若存著感恩的心吃了，為甚麼我因著我所感恩的食物被人毀謗呢？所以，你們或吃喝，或作甚麼，一切都要為神的榮耀而行。

他們禁止嫁娶，禁戒食物。食物本是神所造的，是給信主和認識真理的人存感謝的心領受的。因為凡神所造的，都是好的，只要存感謝的心領受，沒有一樣是可以棄絕的；都因著神的道和人的祈求成為聖潔了。

拿起那七個餅和那些魚，祝謝了，擘開遞給門徒，門徒又分給眾人。

於是吩咐群眾坐在草地上，拿起那五個餅兩條魚，望著天，祝謝了；然後把餅擘開，遞給門徒，門徒又分給群眾。

使人刻苦自己的日子，這樣的禁食是我揀選的嗎？難道只是叫人垂頭像一根葦子，用麻布和爐灰鋪在下面嗎？你可以稱這是禁食，為耶和華所悅納的日子嗎？

這是向耶和華守的一夜，因為耶和華把他們從埃及地領出來，所以這一夜是所有以色列人世世代代向耶和華守的一夜。

摩西說：“今天吃這個吧，因為今天是向耶和華守的安息日，今日你們在田野裡必找不著。

“你要告訴這地的人民和祭司說：‘這七十年來，你們在五月和七月禁食哀哭，豈是真的為我禁食呢？你們吃，你們喝，豈不是為你們自己吃，為你們自己喝嗎？

你們嚴守日子、月份、節期、年份；

這一日必作你們的記念日；你們要守這日為耶和華的節；你們要世世代代守這節日作永遠的定例。

眾人又問他：“我們應該作甚麼，才算是作神的工作呢？”
