Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.

Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? Whether they are faithful or not is their own master’s concern. And they will be faithful, because the Lord has the power to make them faithful.

Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand.

兄弟之間、切勿互相詆毀。詆毀兄弟、即詆毀律法、評判兄弟、即評判律法。爾若評判律法、即非守法之人、而以司法自居矣。夫立法司法、但有一位、惟操生殺之權者天主而己。爾何人斯、乃敢評判他人！

予賜以永生、終無淪亡之虞、亦無能奪自予手。吾父所授於予者、有貴於宇宙萬有者焉。吾父手中所有、孰得從而奪之；予與父、一而已矣！』

吾人於此尚有何說？天主友我、誰能敵我？天主以其聖子為我眾捨生、猶且不惜、尚何吝以一切萬有并賜於我耶？主之所陟、誰得而黜之？主之所義、誰得而罪之？耶穌基督已死而復活、且恆侍於天主之側、而為吾人代求矣。孰能間吾人於基督之愛乎？將貧賤憂戚、飢寒困窮乎？抑災患艱危、白刃窘迫乎？詩云：『正惟為主故、吾人日見殺；一如屠家羊默默待宰割。』雖然、賴愛我者之大力、吾人已戰勝一切災害、且綽綽乎有餘裕矣。蓋吾深信無論死也、生也、天神也、權威也、現在之事也、未來之事也、宇宙間之一切勢力也、浩浩之天、淵淵之淵、以及其他一切受造之物也、皆不能使吾人與天主之愛、須臾相離。是愛也、實存乎吾主耶穌基督之身。

嗟爾蒼生、爾何人斯、乃敢質問天主！被製之物、豈能反詰製之者曰：汝何為而造我如此耶？

縱蹶不仆地。因有主翼輔。

蓋我雖內省不疚、亦不能因是而知免；知我罪我、惟有主耳。故望爾等在時機未熟之前、勿遽下評斷；務須靜候主之來臨。屆時、彼必燭幽揚隱、揭曉人心之思慮；而人人必得公允之褒獎矣。

食者不得輕視不食者；不食者亦不得指摘食者。彼固天主之所容也；

惟天主我等救主能保佑爾曹、不致失足、庇爾於其光榮之下、使爾毫無瑕疵、神樂洋溢。

夫天主既賜以靈賦、與吾儕信主耶穌基督時無異、予何人斯、能阻天主。』

惟天主能堅定爾等信心、使爾等與我所傳之福音及耶穌基督之聖道中、能確立不搖。斯道也、即有世以來所蘊藏之玄妙、

兢兢履主道。未嘗循邪枉。

惡人必折肱。善人有主扶。

天主愛正義。忠良不落魄。忠良常蒙寵。刻薄應無後。

因是凡賴彼而歸天主者、彼常能為其轉求、而拯救之也。

祈主恩佑。莫令望觖。祈主扶持。莫令傾蹶。

蓋天主之神力、必能因爾之信德、保爾始終不渝、俾沐將顯於末日之恩澤也。

且彼等若能幡然去其狐疑之心、則亦必蒙接入；蓋天主固能重接之也。
