The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge the one who does, for God has accepted them.

Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him.

And he spake this parable unto certain which trusted in themselves that they were righteous, and despised others:

But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ.

And through thy knowledge shall the weak brother perish, for whom Christ died?But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ.Wherefore, if meat make my brother to offend, I will eat no flesh while the world standeth, lest I make my brother to offend.

Let us not therefore judge one another any more: but judge this rather, that no man put a stumblingblock or an occasion to fall in[ his] brother’s way.

But if thy brother be grieved with[ thy] meat, now walkest thou not charitably. Destroy not him with thy meat, for whom Christ died.

Judge not, that ye be not judged.For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again.

Take heed that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

Conscience, I say, not thine own, but of the other: for why is my liberty judged of another[ man’s] conscience?For if I by grace be a partaker, why am I evil spoken of for that for which I give thanks?

Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath[ days]:Which are a shadow of things to come; but the body[ is] of Christ.

[ It is] good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor[ any thing] whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

Then Peter opened[ his] mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:

Then came to him the disciples of John, saying, Why do we and the Pharisees fast oft, but thy disciples fast not?

For who hath despised the day of small things? for they shall rejoice, and shall see the plummet in the hand of Zerubbabel[ with] those seven; they[ are] the eyes of the LORD, which run to and fro through the whole earth.

While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He hath a devil.The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

And God, which knoweth the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as[ he did] unto us;And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
