Give to everyone what you owe them: If you owe taxes, pay taxes; if revenue, then revenue; if respect, then respect; if honor, then honor.

耶穌對他們說：「這樣，凱撒的歸凱撒，上帝的歸上帝。」

彼得說：「納。」他進了屋子，耶穌先對他說：「西門，你的意見如何？世上的君王向誰徵收關稅或丁稅？是向自己的兒子呢？還是向外人呢？」

務要尊重眾人；要敬愛教中的弟兄姊妹；要敬畏上帝；要尊敬君王。你們作奴僕的，凡事要存敬畏的心順服主人；不但順服善良溫和的，就是乖僻的也要順服。

然而，你們每個人都要愛妻子，如同愛自己一樣；妻子也要敬重她的丈夫。

他們說：「是凱撒的。」於是耶穌說：「這樣，凱撒的歸凱撒；上帝的歸上帝。」

我兒啊，你要敬畏耶和華與君王，不可結交反覆無常的人，

善於督導教會的長老，尤其是勤勞講道教導人的，應該得到加倍的敬奉。

同時，她們又學了懶惰，習慣於挨家閒逛；不但懶惰，而且說長道短，好管閒事，說些不該說的話。

當孝敬父母，使你得福，在世長壽。這是第一條帶應許的誡命。

他們開始控告他說：「我們見這人煽惑我們的國民，禁止我們納稅給凱撒，並說自己是基督，是王。」

凡負軛作奴隸的，要認為自己的主人配受各樣的尊敬，免得上帝的名和教導被人褻瀆。

作僕人的，你們要懼怕戰兢，用誠實的心聽從你們肉身的主人，好像聽從基督一般；

同樣，你們作丈夫的，要按情理跟妻子共同生活，體貼女性是比較軟弱的器皿；要尊重她，因為她也與你一同承受生命之恩。這樣，你們的禱告就不會受阻礙。

「在白髮的人面前，你要站起來，要尊敬老人；要敬畏你的上帝，我是耶和華。

你們各人都當孝敬父母，也要守我的安息日。我是耶和華－你們的上帝。

於是撒母耳求告耶和華，耶和華就在這日打雷降雨，眾百姓就非常懼怕耶和華和撒母耳。

「當孝敬父母，使你的日子在耶和華－你上帝所賜你的地上得以長久。

耶穌對他們說：「凱撒的歸凱撒；上帝的歸上帝。」他們對他非常驚訝。
