True enough; they were broken off by unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.

Where then is boasting? It is excluded. By what kind of law? By one of works? No, on the contrary, by a law of faith.

Peter told Him,“ Even if everyone runs away because of You, I will never run away!”

So, whoever thinks he stands must be careful not to fall.

I am also going.Many peoples and strong nations will come to seek the Lord of Hosts in Jerusalem and to plead for the Lord’s favor.”The Lord of Hosts says this:“ In those days, 10 men from nations of every language will grab the robe of a Jewish man tightly, urging: Let us go with you, for we have heard that God is with you.”

He also told this parable to some who trusted in themselves that they were righteous and looked down on everyone else:“ Two men went up to the temple complex to pray, one a Pharisee and the other a tax collector.The Pharisee took his stand and was praying like this:‘ God, I thank You that I’m not like other people— greedy, unrighteous, adulterers, or even like this tax collector.

And if you belong to Christ, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.
