但如果有些树枝被折下来，而你这野橄榄枝被接在其上，并且一同有份于那橄榄树根的丰富养分，

若數枝見折、爾素為野欖者得接於其中、共與於橄欖之根與腴、

數枝見折、爾素為野欖、接枝於橄欖、分其根之盛、

即有數枝被折、而爾本屬野欖、倖蒙接入其中、且得分潤厥根之膏澤；

If some of the branches have been broken off, and you, though a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing sap from the olive root,

Some of the natural branches have been broken off. You are a wild olive branch. But you have been joined to the tree with the other branches. Now you enjoy the life- giving sap of the olive tree root.

But if some of the branches were broken off, and you, although a wild olive shoot, were grafted in among the others and now share in the nourishing root of the olive tree,

But some of these branches from Abraham’s tree— some of the people of Israel— have been broken off. And you Gentiles, who were branches from a wild olive tree, have been grafted in. So now you also receive the blessing God has promised Abraham and his children, sharing in the rich nourishment from the root of God’s special olive tree.

故爾曹當記憶、爾按本身昔為異邦人、彼稱為受割禮之人、即身受手行之割禮者、譏爾曹未受割禮、當時爾與基督相離、在以色列民中無分、與所應許之諸約無與、無有所望、處世而無天主、今因基督耶穌、爾素為遠者、賴基督之血得近矣、

昔主稱爾名為油果樹、枝葉茂盛、結果嘉美、今在大諠譁中、燃火焚燬、枝條俱敗、

凡在我之枝而不結果者、父去之、凡結果者、修潔之、使之結果尤繁、

即異邦人、同為嗣子、同為一體、賴福音共享天主因耶穌所許之福、

惟我如天主殿宇內之青油果樹、永賴天主之恩慈、

故我告爾、天主國必奪於爾、而賜於能結果之民、

昔爾曹縱肉體之慾、死於罪愆、今天主赦爾諸罪、俾爾同基督復活、

蓋所許者、許爾及爾子孫、與諸遠人、即主我天主所召者、

一日諸樹欲為己立立原文作膏王、謂油果樹曰、請爾為我之王、油果樹對曰、我之美膏、神與人所譽者、或作神與人因之譽我我豈能舍之、舍之或作息產之下同而往轄樹乎、

其中所遺、雖僅十分之一、亦歸滅絕、然猶存聖裔、為斯地之根本、如栗樹橡樹、雖經斬伐、根本尚存、或作譬彼栗樹橡樹斬伐枝條尚留根株聖種猶存為斯地之根本亦復若是

枝條枯槁、必被毀折、婦女拾取、用以燃火、因此民蒙昧無知、故造之者不憫之、作之者不向之施恩、

此即二油果樹、二燈臺、立於天下主前者、

枝長至海濱、蔓延及河畔、主因何拆毀護樹之藩籬、任行路之人折取、為林中野豬殘壞、為曠野蠢獸所囓、求萬有之天主轉回、從天垂視、眷顧此葡萄樹、保護主右手所栽培者、保護主為己所養育之子民、現今此樹、被火焚燒、亦被砍伐、主之民因主發怒譴責、乃至滅亡、

我又告爾、自東自西、有眾將至、與亞伯拉罕、以撒、雅各、席坐於天國、而國之諸子、必見逐於外幽暗之地、在彼必有哀哭切齒、

其土產小麥麰麥、葡萄無花果、石榴油果與蜜、

旁有二油果樹、一在盂右、一在盂左、

主天主如是云、葡萄樹在林之諸樹中、我使之見投於火為薪、我使耶路撒冷居民亦若是、我向之震怒、既出一火、復入一火、我向之震怒時、爾曹則知我乃主、斯民大行不法不法或作悖逆之事、故我必使其地荒蕪、此乃主天主所言、

我儕本猶太人、非異邦罪人、

人不在我內、則如枝被擲於外而槁、人拾之、投火而焚、

舟人由是甚畏主、獻祭於主、且許願、
