若彼之見棄、為斯世復和於上帝、則其見納也、豈非自死而生乎、

若以色列人始見棄、因而舉世得親於上帝、後亦見納、非出死入生乎。

若彼之見棄、使世復和、則彼之見納何如、豈非由死復生乎、○

何則、若彼之被棄已為舉世重歸天主之因緣、則彼之被納、又為何如將非轉死為生、大地回春乎！

For if their rejection brought reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

When they were not accepted, it became possible for the whole world to be brought back to God. So what will happen when they are accepted? It will be like life from the dead.

For if their rejection means the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

For since their rejection meant that God offered salvation to the rest of the world, their acceptance will be even more wonderful. It will be life for those who were dead!

For if their rejection brings reconciliation to the world, what will their acceptance mean but life from the dead?

For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?

All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation:that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them. We implore you on Christ’s behalf: Be reconciled to God. (niv)

Again I ask: Did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Not at all! Rather, because of their transgression, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel envious.But if their transgression means riches for the world, and their loss means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their full inclusion bring! The hand of the Lord was on me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the Lord and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.He asked me,“ Son of man, can these bones live?” I said,“ Sovereign Lord, you alone know.”Then he said to me,“ Prophesy to these bones and say to them,‘ Dry bones, hear the word of the Lord!This is what the Sovereign Lord says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. to be put into effect when the times reach their fulfillment— to bring unity to all things in heaven and on earth under Christ. (niv)

But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’” (niv)

I ask then: Did God reject his people? By no means! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.God did not reject his people, whom he foreknew. Don’t you know what Scripture says in the passage about Elijah— how he appealed to God against Israel: (niv)

and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior. (niv)

I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years.( The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection.Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years. (niv)
