The fourth angel sounded his trumpet, and a third of the sun was struck, a third of the moon, and a third of the stars, so that a third of them turned dark. A third of the day was without light, and also a third of the night.

天上的星辰不再发光，太阳刚出来就变黑，月亮也暗淡无光。

太阳要变得昏暗，月亮要变得血红。在耶和华伟大而可畏的日子来临以前，这些事都会发生。

所到之处，天摇地动，日月昏暗，星辰无光。

第一位天使吹响号角的时候，冰雹和火搀杂着血从天上倾盆而下。地的三分之一、树木的三分之一和一切的青草都被烧毁了。第二位天使吹号的时候，一座好像燃烧的大山被丢进海里。海洋的三分之一变成了血，海中的活物死了三分之一，船只也被毁了三分之一。第三位天使吹号的时候，有一颗好像火炬般燃烧着的巨星从天上坠落在三分之一的江河溪流和水泉里。这颗星名叫“苦艾”，它使三分之一的水都变苦了，许多人因为喝了这种苦水而死去。第四位天使吹号的时候，太阳、月亮和星辰的三分之一都受到重击，以致失去了光辉，于是日间的三分之一暗淡无光，夜间也是如此。

日月昏暗，星辰无光。

地上三分之二的人必遭铲除、毁灭，只剩下三分之一的人存活。这是耶和华说的。我必使这三分之一的人受到火一般的考验；我必像熬炼银子一样熬炼他们，像试炼金子一样试炼他们。他们必呼求我的名，我必回应他们。我必说，‘这是我的子民。’他们必说，‘耶和华是我们的上帝。’”

耶和华对摩西说：“你向天伸杖，使埃及全境漆黑一片，那黑暗浓得甚至可以摸到。”摩西向天伸杖，埃及全境便漆黑了三天之久。埃及人彼此看不见，谁也不敢移动半步。可是，以色列人住的地方却有光。法老把摩西召来，对他说：“去吧，带着你们的妇女和孩子去事奉耶和华吧，但你们要把牛羊留下。”摩西回答说：“你要让我们带走牛羊，因为它们是献给我们上帝耶和华的祭物和燔祭牲。我们要带走所有的牲畜，一只蹄子也不留下，因为我们要从其中选一些来献给我们的上帝耶和华。我们抵达目的地前，还不知道把哪些献给祂。”但耶和华使法老的心刚硬，不肯让以色列百姓离开。法老对摩西说：“给我滚出去！不要再让我见到你，因为你再见我面之日必死。”摩西回答说：“你说得好，我必不再见你的面。”

羔羊揭开第六印的时候，我看见大地震发生了，太阳变得像黑毛布一样黑，整个月亮变成血红色，

他来要按照撒旦的伎俩行各样虚假的异能、神迹和奇事，用尽各样诡计欺骗那些将要灭亡的人，因为他们不喜欢接受那能拯救他们的真理。上帝就让他们是非不辨，去相信那些虚假的谎言，使一切不相信真理、反喜爱不义的人都被定罪。

那四个天使就被释放了，他们为了此年、此月、此日、此刻已经预备好了，要杀掉人类的三分之一。

“当灾难的日子一过，“‘太阳变黑，月亮无光，众星陨落，天体震动。’

正午时分，黑暗笼罩着整个大地，一直到下午三点。

“日月星辰必显出异兆，怒海汹涌、波涛翻腾，令各国惊恐不安。

那时大约是正午，黑暗笼罩着整个大地，一直到下午三点，太阳黯然无光。忽然挂在圣殿里的幔子从中间裂成两半。

“大灾难过后，太阳昏暗，月亮无光，

它的尾巴将天上三分之一的星扫落到地上。巨龙站在那正要生产的妇人面前，等着要吃掉她生下来的婴孩。

从正午一直到下午三点，黑暗笼罩着整个大地。

马口中喷出的这三样灾害杀死了世上三分之一的人口。

那时，月亮必羞于露面，太阳必黯然无光，因为万军之耶和华必在锡安山，在耶路撒冷掌权，在祂子民的首领面前彰显荣耀。

太阳要变得昏暗，月亮要变得血红。这都要发生在主伟大荣耀的日子来临以前。

第四位天使将碗倒在太阳上，太阳就变得炙热如火，可以灼伤人。人们被炙热灼伤，就亵渎掌管这些灾祸的上帝的名，他们毫无悔意，不肯归荣耀给上帝。

我俯瞰大地，一片空虚混沌；我仰望天空，毫无亮光。

当我消灭你的时候，我要用云遮蔽天空，使日月无光，星辰昏暗。我要遮蔽天上所有的光，使黑暗笼罩你的四境。这是主耶和华说的。

主耶和华说：“到那日，我要使太阳中午落下，使白昼变为黑暗。

那些不信的人是被这世界的神弄瞎了心眼，以致看不见基督荣耀的福音之光。基督是上帝的本像。
