謂山與巖曰、傾而匿我、以避居於座者之面及羔之怒、

籲呼山巖壓己、不令坐位之主見之、及為羔所怒、

籲呼山巖曰、墜於我身掩蓋我、可避坐寶座者之面、及羔之怒、

而乞靈於山石曰：「其速覆吾身、掩吾人於居寶座者之顏、與羔羊之怒；

They called to the mountains and the rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who sits on the throne and from the wrath of the Lamb!

They called out to the mountains and rocks,“ Fall on us! Hide us from the face of the one who sits on the throne! Hide us from the anger of the Lamb!

calling to the mountains and rocks,“ Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb,

The high places of wickedness will be destroyed— it is the sin of Israel. Thorns and thistles will grow up and cover their altars. Then they will say to the mountains,“ Cover us!” and to the hills,“ Fall on us!” (niv)

At once I was in the Spirit, and there before me was a throne in heaven with someone sitting on it. (niv)

Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. The earth and the heavens fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. (niv)

and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels.He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus.They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of his might (niv)

You will break them with a rod of iron; you will dash them to pieces like pottery.”Therefore, you kings, be wise; be warned, you rulers of the earth.Serve the Lord with fear and celebrate his rule with trembling.Kiss his son, or he will be angry and your way will lead to your destruction, for his wrath can flare up in a moment. Blessed are all who take refuge in him. (niv)

“ You have said so,” Jesus replied.“ But I say to all of you: From now on you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” (niv)

The Lord is at your right hand; he will crush kings on the day of his wrath.He will judge the nations, heaping up the dead and crushing the rulers of the whole earth. (niv)

Wherever I banish them, all the survivors of this evil nation will prefer death to life, declares the Lord Almighty.’ (niv)

From the throne came flashes of lightning, rumblings and peals of thunder. In front of the throne, seven lamps were blazing. These are the seven spirits of God. (niv)

And he swore by him who lives for ever and ever, who created the heavens and all that is in them, the earth and all that is in it, and the sea and all that is in it, and said,“ There will be no more delay! (niv)

Whenever the living creatures give glory, honor and thanks to him who sits on the throne and who lives for ever and ever, (niv)

Your hand will lay hold on all your enemies; your right hand will seize your foes.When you appear for battle, you will burn them up as in a blazing furnace. The Lord will swallow them up in his wrath, and his fire will consume them.You will destroy their descendants from the earth, their posterity from mankind.Though they plot evil against you and devise wicked schemes, they cannot succeed.You will make them turn their backs when you aim at them with drawn bow. (niv)

They called out in a loud voice,“ How long, Sovereign Lord, holy and true, until you judge the inhabitants of the earth and avenge our blood?” (niv)

But there they are, overwhelmed with dread, for God is present in the company of the righteous. (niv)

Then the angel who was speaking to me said,“ Proclaim this word: This is what the Lord Almighty says:‘ I am very jealous for Jerusalem and Zion,and I am very angry with the nations that feel secure. I was only a little angry, but they went too far with the punishment.’ (niv)

Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations.“ He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. (niv)
