Then each of them was given a white robe, and they were told to wait a little longer, until the full number of their fellow servants, their brothers and sisters, were killed just as they had been.

我民歟、往哉、入密室、鎖閉其門、暫匿片時、待忿怒忿怒或作患難已過、蓋主離其所、欲討地上居民之罪、地必顯露流入其中之血、不復掩蓋其上見殺者之屍、

是時兄將解弟、父將解子、以致之死、子女起攻父母而弒之、

並有權使獸像有生氣、使獸像能言、且能使不拜獸像者見殺、

人將逐爾出會、且時將至、凡殺爾者、必以為此乃奉事天主、

我見婦飲聖徒之血、及為耶穌作證者之血、飲而醉矣、我見之不勝驚駭、

是以我遣先知智人經士就爾、其中有爾所殺及釘十字架者、有爾所鞭於爾之會堂、由此邑窘逐至彼邑者、致地上流義人之血、皆歸於爾、即自義人亞伯之血、至爾所殺於殿及祭臺間巴拉迦子撒迦利亞之血也、

惟爾往哉、待爾之終、必將安寢、而末日必起、享為爾所定之福、或作惟爾往哉安居本業直至壽終末日必起享為爾所定之福
