各有六翼、遍體有目、晝夜不憩、言曰、聖哉、聖哉、聖哉、主上帝全能者、昔在今在而將來者也、

Each of the four living creatures had six wings and was covered with eyes all around, even under its wings. Day and night they never stop saying:“‘ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty,’ who was, and is, and is to come.”

Each of the four living creatures had six wings. Each creature was covered all over with eyes. It had eyes even under its wings. Day and night, they never stop saying,“‘ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God who rules over all.’( Isaiah 6:3) He was, and he is, and he will come.”

And the four living creatures, each of them with six wings, are full of eyes all around and within, and day and night they never cease to say,“ Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord God Almighty, who was and is and is to come!”

Each of these living beings had six wings, and their wings were covered all over with eyes, inside and out. Day after day and night after night they keep on saying,“ Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God, the Almighty— the one who always was, who is, and who is still to come.”

天主曰：吾乃無始之始、無終之終、古今未來永生全能天主也。

耶穌基督、無今無昨、徹始徹終、而不變者也。

更有琉璃平鋪若海、澄澈如水晶。座之前後左右有靈物四、徧體皆目、

居止至尊之堂奧。必得優游覆育下。

合奏其忠僕摩西之歌、及羔羊之歌曰：主天主兮全能、大且奇兮經綸。爾為君兮萬世、惟爾道兮仁且真。

彼口吐利刃、以擊萬邦；手執鐵杖、以牧元元；足踐酒醡、以洩全能天主之義憤；

我主天主、今古恆存；心歌腹咏、謝爾洪恩。萬有主宰、實具全能：親掌大權、統御乾坤。

又聞祭壇發言曰：「誠哉言也！主天主、全能者乎、爾之睿斷、既明且公。」

顧吾未見有聖殿、以全能天主及其羔羊、即為斯邑之聖殿故。

座之四周、設有二十四位、二十四老、白衣、戴金冠而坐。

故得奉事天主於寶座之前、朝朝暮暮、不離聖殿；位於寶座者且將庇之於閟帷之下焉。

吾願作爾慈父、爾當為吾子女。』此乃全能主宰之語也！

若望致書於亞西亞七教會曰：伏願古今未來永生天主、寶座前之七神、

爾其寓書於斐拉代非教會之守護天神曰：彼至聖至真掌握大維之管籥所啟無人能閉、所閉無人能啟者、有所曉諭於爾：

邪神、即鬼魔之靈、能作祟、附於全世諸王、使於全能天主全盛之日、集中全力、而作最後之掙扎。主不云乎：

努力傳道、處順毋弛、處逆毋餒。務須一秉堅忍不拔之耐德、及真實無妄之教理、以規人之過、懲人之惡、而勗人之善也。

亦未嘗仰給於人、惟日夜躬自操作、以免加累於爾。吾人非無權要求供養也；顧欲以身作則、俾爾等知所取法耳。

煎燒之煙、蓬蓬上升、曠世不休。哀哉拜獸及其像、而受其名之印誌者、日夜遑遑、不得寧息。」

兄弟當猶憶吾儕傳授天主福音時之如何艱辛困苦、躬自操作、夙夜不遑、以免加爾之累。

務求己立立人、己達達人、戰戰兢兢、始終如一；如此方能自救、而救聽眾也。

是宜恆懷警惕、念我三年來不舍晝夜含淚訓爾之情。
