“ I know about your suffering and your poverty— but you are rich! I know the blasphemy of those opposing you. They say they are Jews, but they are not, because their synagogue belongs to Satan.

Kings and queens will serve you and care for all your needs. They will bow to the earth before you and lick the dust from your feet. Then you will know that I am the Lord. Those who trust in me will never be put to shame.”

The descendants of your tormentors will come and bow before you. Those who despised you will kiss your feet. They will call you the City of the Lord, and Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

And they will say,‘ Please let us walk with you, for we have heard that God is with you.’”

So take seven bulls and seven rams and go to my servant Job and offer a burnt offering for yourselves. My servant Job will pray for you, and I will accept his prayer on your behalf. But Paul replied,“ They have publicly beaten us without a trial and put us in prison— and we are Roman citizens. So now they want us to leave secretly? Certainly not! Let them come themselves to release us!”When the police reported this, the city officials were alarmed to learn that Paul and Silas were Roman citizens.So they came to the jail and apologized to them. Then they brought them out and begged them to leave the city.

Pharaoh and all his officials and all the people of Egypt woke up during the night, and loud wailing was heard throughout the land of Egypt. There was not a single house where someone had not died.Pharaoh sent for Moses and Aaron during the night.“ Get out!” he ordered.“ Leave my people— and take the rest of the Israelites with you! Go and worship the Lord as you have requested.Take your flocks and herds, as you said, and be gone. Go, but bless me as you leave.”
