因此，他们在宝座前，在圣殿中不分昼夜地事奉上帝。坐在宝座上的那位要庇护他们。他们不会再受饥饿和干渴的折磨，也不会再受太阳和酷热的煎熬，因为在宝座中央的羔羊要做他们的牧人，引导他们到生命之泉那里，上帝要擦干他们所有的眼泪。”

谁要事奉我，就要跟从我。我在哪里，事奉我的人也要在哪里。我父必尊重事奉我的人。

我安排好了以后，必定回来接你们到我那里。我在哪里，让你们也在哪里。

城内必有人居住，不再遭毁灭的咒诅。耶路撒冷必安享太平。

我要住在他们中间。我要做他们的上帝，他们要做我的子民。

但我因持守公义必见你的面；我醒来见到你就心满意足了。

锡安的居民啊，高声欢呼吧！因为住在你们当中的以色列的圣者无比伟大。”

我看见城中没有圣殿，因为全能的主上帝和羔羊就是圣城的殿。圣城里不需要太阳和月亮的光照耀，因为有上帝的荣光照耀，羔羊就是圣城的灯。

你把生命之路指示我，你右手有永远的福乐，我在你面前充满喜乐。

“王又对左边的人说，‘你们这些被咒诅的人，走开！到专为魔鬼及其使者预备的永远不灭的火里去吧！

‘凡不遵行这律法的必受咒诅！’全体民众要回答说，‘阿们！’

“父啊！我在哪里，愿你赐给我的人也在哪里，好让他们看见你赐给我的荣耀，因为在创世以前你已经爱我了。

城的四周共长十公里，从那时起，这城必叫‘耶和华的居所’。”

那人说：“我听见你在园中行走的声音，就害怕得躲了起来，因为我赤身露体！”耶和华上帝问：“谁说你赤身露体？难道你吃了我吩咐你不可吃的果子吗？”那人说：“你赐给我作伴的女人摘了那树上的果子给我，我就吃了。”耶和华上帝对女人说：“你这做的是什么事？”女人说：“是蛇诱骗我，我才吃的。”
