有敢削斯書預言一字者、天主亦將削其籍於本書所述之生命樹及聖邑之中也。

And if anyone takes words away from this scroll of prophecy, God will take away from that person any share in the tree of life and in the Holy City, which are described in this scroll.

Suppose someone takes away any words from this book of prophecy. Then God will take away from that person the blessings told about in this book. God will take away their share in the tree of life. God will also take away their place in the Holy City.

In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

You shall not add to the word which I command you, nor take from it, that you may keep the commandments of the Lord your God which I command you.

“ Woe to you lawyers! For you have taken away the key of knowledge. You did not enter in yourselves, and those who were entering in you hindered.”

Let them be blotted out of the book of the living, And not be written with the righteous.

Then I heard a voice from heaven saying to me,“ Write:‘ Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’”“ Yes,” says the Spirit,“ that they may rest from their labors, and their works follow them.”

He who overcomes, I will make him a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go out no more. I will write on him the name of My God and the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from My God. And I will write on him My new name.

And he who overcomes, and keeps My works until the end, to him I will give power over the nations—

And the Lord said to Moses,“ Whoever has sinned against Me, I will blot him out of My book.

After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands,and crying out with a loud voice, saying,“ Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!”All the angels stood around the throne and the elders and the four living creatures, and fell on their faces before the throne and worshiped God,saying:“ Amen! Blessing and glory and wisdom, Thanksgiving and honor and power and might, Be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”Then one of the elders answered, saying to me,“ Who are these arrayed in white robes, and where did they come from?”And I said to him,“ Sir, you know.” So he said to me,“ These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.Therefore they are before the throne of God, and serve Him day and night in His temple. And He who sits on the throne will dwell among them.They shall neither hunger anymore nor thirst anymore; the sun shall not strike them, nor any heat;for the Lamb who is in the midst of the throne will shepherd them and lead them to living fountains of waters. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.”

To him who overcomes I will grant to sit with Me on My throne, as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His throne.

Blessed is he who reads and those who hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written in it; for the time is near.

“ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. He who overcomes shall not be hurt by the second death.”’

You have a few names even in Sardis who have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with Me in white, for they are worthy.He who overcomes shall be clothed in white garments, and I will not blot out his name from the Book of Life; but I will confess his name before My Father and before His angels.

“ And behold, I am coming quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give to every one according to his work.

All who dwell on the earth will worship him, whose names have not been written in the Book of Life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

“ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the midst of the Paradise of God.”’

“ He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes I will give some of the hidden manna to eat. And I will give him a white stone, and on the stone a new name written which no one knows except him who receives it.”’“ And to the angel of the church in Thyatira write,‘ These things says the Son of God, who has eyes like a flame of fire, and His feet like fine brass:

But I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.The city had no need of the sun or of the moon to shine in it, for the glory of God illuminated it. The Lamb is its light.And the nations of those who are saved shall walk in its light, and the kings of the earth bring their glory and honor into it.Its gates shall not be shut at all by day( there shall be no night there).And they shall bring the glory and the honor of the nations into it.But there shall by no means enter it anything that defiles, or causes an abomination or a lie, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life.

Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
