於是大龍被摔下：大龍就是古蛇，叫魔鬼又叫撒但的，就是那迷惑普天下的。他被摔在地上，他的使者也同他被摔下。

他們就去，將墓把守妥當，蓋印封着石頭，加上守衛隊。

那一千年完了，撒但就會被釋放、出了監牢。他必出來，迷惑全地四角的列國、就是歌革和瑪各，聚集他們去赴戰；他們的數目像海沙。他們上來，佈滿了廣袤大地，圍住了聖徒的營和那蒙愛的城。就有火從天上降下來燒滅他們。那迷惑他們的魔鬼就被丟在火跟硫磺的湖裏、獸和假神言人所在的地方；他們必晝夜受苦痛，世世代代、永不停息。

你所看見的獸、先前有、如今沒有，牠將要從無底坑上來、而走向着滅亡。住在地上的人、其名字從世界創立以來沒有記在生命冊上的、見那先前有、如今沒有、將來還要有的獸、都必驚奇。

那不法者之「來臨」是依撒但「所運用的動力」、用各樣虛謊之異能神迹奇事，用各樣不義之誘惑施在趨於滅亡的人身上的，因為他們不接受愛真理的心而使他們得救。

他們是能行神迹的鬼魔之靈、出來到普天下列王各地、要召集他們去赴全能者上帝之大日子的戰爭的。（看吧，我來像賊一樣；那儆醒並保守其衣裳、免得赤身而行、讓人看見他的下體的、有福啊！）污靈就召集列王在一個地方、希伯來土話叫哈米吉多頓。

這種人是假使徒，是欺詐的工作者，是化裝為基督使徒的。這並不希奇：因為撒但自己也化裝為亮光之天使啊！所以他的僕役若化裝為正義之僕役，也算不了大事啊！他們的結局總會跟他們的行為相等對的。

因為在你看、千年如剛過的昨日，又如夜裏的一更。

我只怕蛇怎樣用牠的狡猾誘惑了夏娃，你們的心意怎樣敗壞、失去了忠於基督的純一心。

因了得權柄而在獸面前能行神迹、牠就迷惑住在地上的人，告訴住在地上的人要為那受刀擊傷還活着的獸造像。

因為有假基督假神言人將要起來，施行大神迹奇事，為的是、如果可能、連蒙揀選的人也要加以迷惑。

但親愛的、這一點你們可別忘了：在主看來，一日如千年，千年如一日。
