你們別把這事看作希奇了；因為時候必到，那時凡在墳墓裏的、都必聽他的聲音而出來；行善的去到有生命之復活中，作壞事的去到受定罪之復活裏。

為你而死的必活起來；他們的屍體必起來；住塵世上的必醒起來歡唱。因為你的霧露是閃光的霧露；你必讓它落在陰魂之地上。

弟兄們，這一點我要說：肉與血不能承受上帝的國，朽壞也不能承受不朽壞。請注意，我把一件奧祕告訴你們：我們不是都要長眠着，乃是都要改變，就在一剎那、一眨眼之間、末次號筒的時候；號筒必響，死人都必得甦活起來、不朽壞；我們呢、也必改變。這能朽壞的必須穿上不朽壞；這能死的必須穿上不死。這能死的既穿上了不死，那時經上所記：『死被吞滅在勝利中』的話便應驗了。死啊！你的勝利在哪裏？死啊！你的毒刺在哪裏？死的毒刺就是罪，罪的勢力就是律法。願感謝歸於上帝，他藉着我們的主耶穌基督、常把勝利賜給我們。所以我親愛的弟兄們，你們要堅定、不搖動，時常充溢出主的工，因為知道你們的勞苦在主裏面不是空的。

我必贖救他們脫離陰間的權勢；我必贖回他們脫離死亡。死亡啊，你的災害在哪裏？陰間哪，你的毁滅在哪裏？我看不到須改變心意呀。

永活的；我曾經死，如今你看，我是永遠活着、世世無窮的；我並且執有死亡和陰間的鑰匙。
