地上的众君王，就是那些与她行淫乱、一同骄奢淫逸的，当看见焚烧她时的烟，就会为她捶胸哀哭。

地上的君王，素來與她行淫、一同奢華的，看見燒她的煙，就必為她哭泣哀號。

天下諸王、素與巴比倫行淫、專事華靡、見厥火炎炎、必哭之哀、

天下諸王、素與彼行淫、奢侈宴樂、見焚之之煙、必為之悲痛號泣、

世之百王與之共淫、而同享侈泰者、必將目擊其火焰、而號咷大哭；

Then the kings of the earth who committed immoral acts with her and lived in sensual luxury with her will weep and wail for her when they see the smoke from the fire that burns her up.

世上諸王與之行淫、宅地之人、由其淫亂之酒而醉、

蓋萬邦因其淫亂干怒之酒而傾、世上諸王、與之行淫、諸商因其奢華之甚而致富、○

又曰、哈利路亞、焚彼之煙上騰、以至世世、

見所焚之煙、皆遠立、呼曰、孰若此大邑乎、

海濱君王、將下其位、解其朝服、去其繡衣、遍體戰慄、而坐於地、恐懼不已、為爾驚駭、作哀歌云、有名之邑、鞏建海中、為航海者所居、凡寓彼者、無不懾伏、奚傾圮乎、

其痛苦之煙上騰、以至世世、凡拜獸與其像、及受其名之印誌者、晝夜無憩息也、

巴比倫傾覆之聲、震動大地、號呼之聲、聞於列邦、

天乎、諸聖徒與使徒及先知乎、宜因之而樂、蓋上帝以爾之鞫鞫彼也、○

彼昔自榮與奢華若何、使之痛苦悲哀亦若何、蓋彼自謂我位后矣、非嫠也、決不至悲哀也、

又見硫磺與鹽、火焚遍地、不種不產、不生草萊、如所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁、為耶和華忿怒所傾覆者、

以東諸溪變為瀝青、土壤化為硫磺、其地成為已燃之瀝青、晝夜不熄、恆久煙騰、歷代荒蕪、無人經過、迄於永世、

我以爾之敗亡、加於爾所未識之國、則擾多民之心、諸民為爾駭愕、其王於我揮刃之日、為爾戰慄不已、當爾顚仆之日、眾必顧其生命、時切恐惶、

巴比倫乃列國中之尊榮、迦勒底人所誇之華美、將若所多瑪蛾摩拉、為上帝所傾覆、

大聲呼曰、伐其樹、斫其枝、搖落其葉、播散其果、使獸離其下、使鳥去其枝、

蓋陀斐特設自古昔、為王而備、深之廣之、積多薪、蓄以火、耶和華之氣、若硫磺之流而燃之、

耶和華曰、必如所多瑪蛾摩拉、及其鄰邑之傾覆、無人居處、世人不寓其中、

義人見其慘報則喜、必濯足於惡人之血兮、

爾所見之十角、乃十王未嘗受國者、但偕獸受權如王僅半時耳、其心咸同、以己能與權予獸、

松木歟、爾其號咷、因香柏已傾、其佳者已毀矣、巴珊橡樹歟、爾其號咷、因叢林已仆矣、有牧人號咷之聲、因其榮華毀矣、有稚獅咆哮之聲、因約但之榮美摧矣、

瞻望所多瑪蛾摩拉、與平原全境、見其烟燄上騰、如出於爐、○
