故一日間、諸災並臻、即死亡悲哀饑荒、盡焚以火、蓋鞫之之主上帝、乃有能者也、

故頃刻間、災害數至、即饑饉、痛哭、死亡、火爇、蓋鞫之之上帝、乃大能之主、

故一日之間、其災齊至、即死亡哀哭饑饉、亦被火焚、蓋審判之主天主、其能至大、

詎料一旦眾災咸臨、死喪、憂戚、飢饉、紛至沓來、終至付諸一炬；蓋黜陟之主、乃全能之主宰也。

Therefore in one day her plagues will overtake her: death, mourning and famine. She will be consumed by fire, for mighty is the Lord God who judges her.

But she will be plagued by death, sadness and hunger. In a single day she will suffer all these plagues. She will be burned up by fire. That’s because the Lord God who judges her is mighty.

他们的救赎主大有能力，万军之耶和华是他的名。他必定为他们伸冤，使全地得享平静；他却要搅扰巴比伦的居民。”

“看哪，你这狂傲的啊，我与你为敌，因为你的日子，我惩罚你的时刻已经来到。这是万军之主耶和华说的。

地上的君王，与她行淫、一同奢华的，看见烧她的烟，就必为她哭泣哀号；因怕她的痛苦，就远远地站着，说：“祸哉，祸哉，这大城！坚固的巴比伦城啊！一时之间，你的审判要来到了。”

你所看见的那十个角与兽必恨这淫妇，他们要使她孤独赤身，又要吃她的肉，用火将她烧尽。

于是他们把灰尘撒在头上，哭泣悲哀地喊着说：“祸哉，祸哉，这大城！凡有船在海中的，都因她的珍宝成了富足。她在一时之间就成为荒芜。

一时之间，这么多的财富就归于无有了。”所有的船长和到处航海的，水手以及所有靠海为业的，都远远地站着，

你们要奔逃，离开巴比伦，各救自己的性命！不要陷在它的罪孽中一同灭亡，因为这是耶和华报仇的时刻，他必向巴比伦施行报应。

我们要惹主的嫉恨吗？我们比他更强吗？

万军之耶和华如此说：巴比伦宽阔的城墙要夷为平地，它高大的城门必被火焚烧。万民所劳碌的必致虚空，万族所劳碌的被火焚烧，他们都必困乏。

你所看见的那女人就是管辖地上众王的大城。”

说：“今在昔在的主—全能的上帝啊，我们感谢你！因你执掌大权作王了。

哪知，丧子、寡居这两件事一日之间忽然临到你；你虽多行邪术、广施魔咒，这两件事必全然临到你身上。你倚靠自己的恶行，说：“无人看见我。”你的智慧聪明使你走偏，你心里说：“惟有我，除我以外再没有别的了。”但灾祸临到你，你不知如何驱除；灾害落在你身上，你也无法除掉，你所不知道的毁灭必忽然临到你身上。

上帝说了一次、两次，我都听见了，就是能力属乎上帝。

到那日，耶和华必用他坚硬锐利的大刀惩罚力威亚探，就是那爬得快的蛇，惩罚力威亚探，就是那弯弯曲曲的蛇，并杀死海里的大鱼。

他们又一次说：“哈利路亚！烧淫妇的烟往上冒，直到永永远远。”

若论力量，看哪，他真有能力！若论审判，‘谁能传我呢？’
