吾又見婦人已因暢飲眾聖及諸為耶穌致命者之血、而酩酊矣。吾對之不勝驚訝駭異之至。

我見婦縱飲聖徒及為耶穌作證者之血、不勝駭異、

我見婦飲聖徒之血、及為耶穌作證者之血、飲而醉矣、我見之不勝驚駭、

I saw that the woman was drunk with the blood of God’s holy people, the blood of those who bore testimony to Jesus. When I saw her, I was greatly astonished.

若輩既流先知眾聖之血、則爾飲之以血、不亦宜乎。」

復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。

吾知爾所處之地域、乃沙殫王位之所在也；而爾堅奉吾名、確乎不拔；即當吾之忠實證人安第巴被害於沙殫所寓之爾處時、爾之信德亦未被搖動。

又受權與諸聖相戰而勝之、統治各族、各民、萬邦、重譯。舉世之人、

主曰：「去！予將遣汝遠適異邦。」』

嗟爾天廷諸聖、宗徒、先知、今宜懽忻而鼓舞。蓋天主已予以審判、以伸爾之義矣。時有一大力天神、舉一狀若大磨之石、而投諸海曰：大邑巴比倫、被投如此石；猝然遭傾覆、淪沒無蹤跡。琴瑟與簫角、從此歸沈寂；百工不復見、機聲闃其息；煜煜燈燭光、不復照此邑；無復新婚者、在此敘歡密；祇緣諸偉人、與爾相貿易；巫術惑元元、忍心殺先哲；天民及眾庶、冤血化成碧！

諸兄弟賴羔羊之血、毅然為聖道作證、舍命不渝、從容就死；故能克服頑敵、終獲致勝。

啟五緘、則見為天主聖道而致命者之靈魂盤桓於祭臺之下、大聲而呼曰：「嗟夫、神聖、真實、至高無上之主、爾審判天下、伸吾儕流血之冤、將待何時？」
