它又被准许把气息给那兽像，甚至使那兽像能说话，又使所有不膜拜那兽像的人都被杀死。它还强迫所有的人，无论卑微的或尊贵的、富有的或贫穷的、自由的或为奴的，都在右手或额上接受印记；这样，除了有这印记的人，谁都不可以买或卖，这印记就是兽的名字或它名字的数目。智慧就在这里。有理性的人应当计算这兽的数目，因为这是一个人的数目；其数目是六百六十六。

他们因自己的痛苦、因自己的疮而亵渎了天上的神，还是不悔改离开自己的行为。

你们为什么不断反叛，要一再受击打呢？你们已经满头伤病，整个心都虚脱了。从脚掌到头顶，体无完肤，都是创伤、鞭伤和血糊糊的伤口——没有清理，没有包扎，也没有用油滋润。

所以主必使锡安女子头顶生疮，耶和华必使她们的下体赤露。”

耶和华的手重重地压在阿实突人身上，使他们惊恐不安；他用肿物击打阿实突及其四境。

主的一位天使立刻击打希律，因为他没有把荣耀归给神。他被虫咬蚀，就断了气。

又有一个穷人，名叫拉撒路，满身脓疮，被放在财主的门口，渴望得到财主桌子上掉下来的碎渣充饥，甚至有狗来舔他的疮。后来那穷人死了，被天使们带到亚伯拉罕的怀里。接着，那财主也死了，并且被埋葬了。

他们把它转移过去之后，耶和华的手临到那城，引起极大的恐慌；他击打那城的人，无论老少都长出了肿物。

那时，腐臭必代替馨香，绳索代替腰带，光秃代替美发，束身麻衣代替华服，烙痕代替美貌。

他使东风从天上刮起，以他的力量引领南风；

于是坐在云上的那一位向大地挥动他的镰刀，大地的庄稼就被收割了。
