我立刻就在灵里了，看哪，有一个宝座安放在天上，有一位坐在宝座上。坐着的那一位，看起来仿佛碧玉和红宝石；又有一道彩虹围着宝座，看起来仿佛绿宝石。座位的周围，还有二十四个座位；在那些宝座上，坐着二十四位长老，身穿白衣，头戴金冠冕；从宝座中发出闪电、声音和雷鸣；在宝座前，有七支燃烧着的火把，就是神的七个灵；宝座前面，好像玻璃海，仿佛水晶；在宝座中间和宝座周围，有四个活物，遍体前后布满眼睛。第一个活物仿佛狮子，第二个活物仿佛牛犊，第三个活物有像人一样的脸，第四个活物仿佛飞翔的鹰。那四个活物，各个都有六个翅膀，遍体内外都布满了眼睛。他们日夜不停地说：“圣哉！圣哉！圣哉！主、神、全能者，昔在、今在、将要来临的那一位！”每当四个活物把荣耀、尊贵和感谢归给坐在宝座上、活到永永远远的那一位时，二十四位长老就俯伏在坐宝座的那一位面前，敬拜活到永永远远的那一位，并且把自己的冠冕放在宝座前，说：“我们的主、我们的神哪，你配接受荣耀、尊贵和权能，因为你创造了万有；万有是因着你的旨意而存在、被创造的。”

你们当向耶和华唱新歌，因为他行了奇妙的事，他的右手和圣洁的膀臂带来了拯救。

你们当向耶和华唱新歌，全地啊，你们当向耶和华歌唱！

神哪，我要向你唱新歌，用十弦的里拉琴歌颂你！

“凡是有耳的，就应当听圣灵向各教会所说的话！那得胜的，我将要赐给他那隐藏的吗哪。我还要赐给他一块白石头，石头上有一个写好的新名字，除了那领受的人以外，没有人认识这名字。

你们当向他唱新歌，在欢呼中美妙地弹奏！

他在我口中赐下新歌，就是对我们神的赞美；许多人看见就心存敬畏，并要依靠耶和华。

他们唱着神的奴仆摩西之歌和羔羊之歌，说：“主、神、全能者啊，你的作为又伟大又奇妙！列国之王啊，你的道路又公义又真实！

那时候，耶稣说：“父啊，天地的主，我赞美你，因为你把这些事向有智慧的和有学问的人隐藏起来，而向小孩子们显明出来。是的，父啊！因为这正是你的美意。我父把一切都交给了我。除了父，没有人认识子；除了子和子所愿意启示的人，也没有人认识父。

耶和华与敬畏他的人亲密，使他们明白他的约。

原来，十字架的福音对那些正在灭亡的人来说，是愚拙的；但是对我们这些正在被拯救的人来说，却是神的大能。

不过一个属血气的人不接受属神的灵的这些事，因为对他来说，这些是愚拙的；他也不能明白，因为这些事要用属灵的方式才能洞察。
