則上帝必怒之、俾飲鴆酒、盛酒於杯、厥味甚烈、亦以火與硫、困苦其人、於羔及聖天使前、

必飲天主盛怒之酒、乃無所攙雜者、斟於天主盛怒之杯、又必受苦於火與硫磺中、在諸聖天使及羔之前、

將飲天主罰杯中之真霹靂酒；且將於聖天神及羔羊之前受火與硫璜之苦刑；

they, too, will drink the wine of God’s fury, which has been poured full strength into the cup of his wrath. They will be tormented with burning sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and of the Lamb.

耶路撒冷啊，興起，興起！站起來！你從耶和華手中喝了他憤怒的杯，那使人東倒西歪的杯，直到喝盡。

他要向惡人密佈羅網，烈火、硫磺、熱風作他們杯中的份。

那大城裂為三段，列國的城也都倒塌了。神記起了大巴比倫城，把那盛自己烈怒的酒杯遞給她。

那迷惑他們的魔鬼被扔進硫磺的火湖裏，就是那獸和假先知所在的地方，他們會晝夜受折磨，直到永永遠遠。

她怎樣待人，也要怎樣待她，按她所行的加倍地報應她；用她調酒的杯加倍調給她喝。

那獸被擒拿了；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑了接受獸的印記和拜獸像的人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活生生地被扔進燒着硫磺的火湖裏，

耶和華的手裏有杯，杯內滿了調和起沫的酒；他倒出來，地上的惡人都必喝，直到喝盡它的渣滓。

願他親眼看見自己敗亡，親自飲全能者的憤怒。

耶和華－以色列的神對我如此說：「你從我手中拿這杯憤怒的酒，給我所差遣你去的各國的百姓喝。他們喝了就要東倒西歪，並要發狂，因我使刀劍臨到他們中間。」我就從耶和華的手中拿了這杯，給耶和華所差遣我去的各國的百姓喝，

「王又要向那左邊的說：『你們這被詛咒的人，離開我！進入那為魔鬼和他的使者所預備的永火裏去！

當時，耶和華把硫磺與火，從天上耶和華那裏降與所多瑪和蛾摩拉，

遍地都被硫磺和鹽所侵蝕，不能耕種，沒有出產，連草都長不出來，好像耶和華在怒氣和憤怒中所傾覆的所多瑪、蛾摩拉、押瑪、洗扁一樣，

至於膽怯的、不信的、可憎的、殺人的、淫亂的、行邪術的、拜偶像的和一切說謊話的人，他們將在燒着硫磺的火湖裏有份；這是第二次的死。」

原來陀斐特早已預備好了，是為君王預備的；又深又寬，堆滿了火和木柴；耶和華的氣息猶如一股硫磺使它燃起。

因此，你這困苦卻非因酒而醉的，當聽這話，你的主，耶和華，就是為他百姓辯護的神如此說：「看哪，我已從你手中接過那使人東倒西歪的杯，就是我憤怒的杯，你必不再喝。

同樣，所多瑪、蛾摩拉和周圍城鎮的人也跟着他們一樣犯淫亂，隨從逆性的情慾，以致遭受永不熄滅之火的懲罰，作為眾人的鑒戒。

因為列國都喝了她淫亂大怒的酒；地上的君王和她行淫；地上的商人因她極度奢華而發了財。」

人子要差遣他的使者，把一切使人跌倒的和作惡的從他國裏挑出來，丟在火爐裏，在那裏要哀哭切齒了。

它的河水要變為柏油，塵埃變為硫磺，大地成為燃燒的柏油，

「你要對他們說：『萬軍之耶和華－以色列的神如此說：你們要喝，且要喝醉，要嘔吐，且要跌倒，不再起來，都因我使刀劍臨到你們中間。』

你滿受羞辱，不得榮耀；你也喝吧，顯明你是未受割禮的！耶和華右手的杯必傳到你那裏，你的榮耀就變為羞辱。

世代的終結也要這樣：天使要出來，把惡人從義人中分別出來，丟在火爐裏，在那裏要哀哭切齒了。」

我在異象中看見那些馬和騎馬的：騎馬的穿着火紅、紫瑪瑙及硫磺色的胸甲；馬的頭好像獅子的頭，有火、有煙、有硫磺從馬的口中噴出來。從馬的口中所噴出來的火、煙和硫磺這三樣災害殺了人類的三分之一。

凡血肉之軀都知道是我－耶和華點了火，這火必不熄滅。」

你們等候驚奇吧！你們沉迷宴樂吧！他們醉了，卻非因酒；東倒西歪，卻非因烈酒。

你讓你的子民遇見艱難，使我們喝那令人東倒西歪的酒。

住烏斯地的以東啊，儘管歡喜快樂，苦杯必傳到你那裏；你要喝醉，裸露自己。

你當等候耶和華，遵守他的道，他就抬舉你，使你承受土地；你必看到惡人被剪除。

耶和華如此說：「看哪，既然原不該喝那杯的一定要喝，你能免去懲罰嗎？必不能免，一定要喝！

你惟親眼觀看，見惡人遭報。

耶穌回答：「你們不知道所求的是甚麼。我將要喝的杯，你們能喝嗎？」他們對他說：「我們能。」

他就稍往前走，俯伏在地，禱告說：「我父啊，如果可能，求你使這杯離開我。然而，不是照我所願的，而是照你所願的。」

不屬他的必住在他的帳棚裏，硫磺必撒在他所住之處。

我必使巴比倫的領袖、智慧人、省長、官員和勇士都喝醉，使他們永遠沉睡，不再醒起。這是名為萬軍之耶和華的君王說的。

義人要看見而懼怕，並要笑他。

所以他的百姓歸到這裏，享受滿杯的水。
