並有權使獸像有生氣、使獸像能言、且能使不拜獸像者見殺、

復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

The second beast was allowed to give breath to this statue so it could speak. The statue could kill all who refused to worship it.

那獸被擒拿了；那在獸面前曾行奇事、迷惑了接受獸的印記和拜獸像的人的假先知，也與獸同被擒拿。他們兩個就活生生地被扔進燒着硫磺的火湖裏，

我又看見一些寶座，坐在上面的有審判的權柄賜給他們。我又看見那些因為給耶穌作見證，並為神之道被斬首的人的靈魂，和沒有拜過那獸與獸像、也沒有在額上和手上打過牠印記的人的靈魂。他們都復活了，與基督一同作王一千年。

第一位天使去，把碗傾倒在地上，就有又臭又毒的瘡生在那些有獸的印記和拜獸像的人身上。

牠得了權柄在第一隻獸面前能行奇事，迷惑住在地上的人，告訴他們要為那受過刀傷還活着的獸造個像。

我又看見那女人喝醉了聖徒的血和為耶穌作見證的人的血。我看見她，非常詫異。

於是總督、欽差、省長、參謀、財務、法官、地方官和各省的官員都聚集，站在尼布甲尼撒所立的像前，要為尼布甲尼撒王所立的像行開光禮。那時傳令的大聲呼叫說：「各方、各國、各族的人哪，有命令傳給你們：你們一聽見角、號、琴、瑟、三角琴、鼓和各樣樂器的聲音，就當俯伏，拜尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像。凡不俯伏下拜的，必立刻扔在烈火的窰中。」

因為神使諸王同心執行他的旨意，把他們自己的國交給那隻獸，直等到神的話都應驗了。

他說話抵擋至高者，折磨至高者的眾聖者，又改變節期和律法。眾聖者要交在他手中一年、兩年、又半年。

使他們受痛苦的煙往上冒，直到永永遠遠。那些拜獸和獸像，受了牠名字的印記的人，晝夜不得安寧。」

天哪，眾聖徒、眾使徒、眾先知啊！你們都要因她歡喜，因為神已經在她身上為你們伸了冤。」

另有第三位天使接着他們，大聲說：「若有人拜那隻獸和獸像，在額上或在手上受了印記，

先知、聖徒和地上一切被殺的人的血都在這城裏找到了。」

偶像好像瓜田裏的稻草人，不能說話，不能行走，必須有人抬着。不要怕它們，因它們不能降禍，也無力降福。」

耶和華神用地上的塵土造人，將生命之氣吹進他的鼻孔，這人就成了有靈的活人。

人人都如同畜牲，毫無知識；銀匠都因偶像羞愧，他所鑄的偶像本是虛假，它們裏面並無氣息。

頭上有十隻角和那另長出的一角，三隻角在這角面前掉落；這角有眼，有口說誇大的話，形狀比牠的同類更強。

所以，就如身體沒有靈魂是死的，信心沒有行為也是死的。

禍哉！那對木頭說「醒起」，對啞巴石頭說「起來」的人！偶像豈能教導人呢？看哪，它以金銀包裹，其中並無氣息。

他們將與羔羊作戰，羔羊必勝過他們，因為羔羊是萬主之主、萬王之王，而同羔羊在一起的是蒙召、被選、忠心的人。」
