復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

獸被擒、偽先知曾於獸前行異跡、誘惑受獸印誌及拜獸像者、亦同被擒、二者生投於硫磺火坑中、

我見數座位、有坐之者、得審判之權、其為耶穌之證及天主道被殺之人、未拜獸與獸像、於額與手未受獸印誌者、我見其靈魂、彼皆復活、與基督同王一千年、

第一天使、遂往傾其盂於地、即有惡毒之瘡、生於受獸印誌、拜獸像者之身、

既得權、在獸前行異跡、遂誘惑居於地之人、使之為見傷於刃而尚活之獸作像、

我見婦飲聖徒之血、及為耶穌作證者之血、飲而醉矣、我見之不勝驚駭、

於是方伯、大員、牧伯、刑官、庫官、謀士、士師、及諸邑宰咸至、將為尼布甲尼撒王所立之像、行告成禮、俱立於尼布甲尼撒所立之像前、遒人遒人或作宣令者大聲呼曰、諸民、諸國、諸族、告爾有命、爾聞角、笛、琵琶、琴瑟、簫、笙、及諸他類樂器之音、即當俯伏崇拜尼布甲尼撒所立之金像、凡不俯伏崇拜者、即時投於炎烈之火窰中、

蓋天主感彼眾之心、以成厥旨、使彼眾同心、將己之國給獸、以待天主之言應焉、

向至上者出言誇大、困苦至上者之聖民、欲改時易法、聖民被付於其手、一載二載半載、

彼受苦於火中、其煙上騰、永遠不熄、拜獸與其像、或受其名之印誌者、晝夜不得安息、

天乎、諸聖徒及諸先知乎、爾曹當歡樂、因天主已報之為爾伸冤、○

又有第三天使隨其後、大聲曰、若有拜獸及獸像、於額或於手受其印誌者、

諸先知與聖徒及天下一切見殺者之血、皆見於此邑中、

按鏇法作之、立如巴勒瑪樹、不能言、不能行、藉人肩負、不能降災、亦不能降福、爾勿畏之、

耶和華天主以土造人、以生氣噓入其鼻、而人成為生靈、

人不明此理、甚為愚魯、匠人必因所製偶像慚愧、蓋所鑄之偶像乃虛偽、內無生氣、

首有十角、又別生一角、三角墮於其前、其角有目、有口出言誇大、其狀較他角尤大、

彼遂與羔戰、羔必勝之、因羔乃萬主之主、萬王之王、從之者、皆見召蒙選忠信之人、
