復能授氣於像、令獸像作人言有敢不拜獸像者、殺無赦。

The second beast was given power to give breath to the image of the first beast, so that the image could speak and cause all who refused to worship the image to be killed.

The second beast was allowed to give breath to this statue so it could speak. The statue could kill all who refused to worship it.

但那兽被抓了；那假先知也与它一起被抓了——他在兽面前行了许多奇迹，藉此迷惑那些接受兽的印记并膜拜兽像的人。兽和那假先知两个都活生生地被丢进燃烧着硫磺的火湖里。

随后，我看见一些座位，上面坐着人；这些人被赐予了审判的权柄。我又看见那些为耶稣做见证并为神的话语被斩首之人的灵魂，他们没有膜拜那兽或兽像，也没有在自己额上或手上接受那印记。他们都活了过来，并且与基督一同做王一千年。

第一位天使离去，把他的碗倒在地上，就有又恶又毒的疮，长在那些带有兽的印记并膜拜兽像的人身上。

藉着那些奇迹，就是它被准许在第一只兽面前所行的奇迹，它就迷惑了住在地上的人，告诉住在地上的人，要为那受刀伤却活过来的兽，造一个像。

随后，我看见那女人喝醉了圣徒们的血，以及为耶稣做见证之人的血。我看到她就大大惊奇。

于是，行政官、总长、省长、参谋、司库官、司法官、审判官和各省所有的官员，都被招聚来参加尼布甲尼撒王所立之像的奉献礼；他们站在尼布甲尼撒所立之像的前面。那时，传令官大声宣告：“各民族、各国家、各语言群体，以下是给你们的命令：你们一听见号角、竖笛、里拉琴、弦琴、竖琴、风笛和各种乐器的声音，就要向尼布甲尼撒王所立的金像俯伏膜拜；谁不俯伏膜拜，谁就立刻被扔进烈火燃烧的窑中。”

因为神把意念放在他们心中，要他们实现他的目的，要他们行事目的一致，并把十只角的王权交给那兽，直到神的话语成就。

他必说话敌对至高者，折磨至高者的圣徒们，又企图更改所定的时候和法令；圣徒们将被交在他的手中一期、二期、半期。

折磨他们时的烟往上冒，直到永永远远。那些膜拜兽和兽像的，以及任何接受它名字印记的，都将日夜得不到安息。

上天哪、圣徒们、使徒们、先知们哪，你们应当因她欢喜！因为神已经向她施行审判，为你们惩罚她！”

另一位天使，就是第三位天使，跟着他们大声说：“如果有人膜拜那兽和兽像，并在自己额上或手上接受印记，

而且先知们、圣徒们以及地上一切被杀之人的血，在你那里都被发现了。”

耶和华神用地上的尘土塑造人，把生命的气息吹进他的鼻孔里，那人就成了有生命的人。

我也很想知道有关它头上的十只犄角和那另长出的犄角的真义——在这犄角面前有三只犄角倒下了；这犄角有眼睛，有说大话的口，它的样子比它的同类更大。

它们有嘴却不能说，有眼却不能看；

它们有嘴却不能说，有眼却不能看；有耳却不能听，口中也没有气息；

接着，我听见那位统管众水的天使说：“今在、昔在的圣者啊，你是公义的，因为你判定了这些事，

要知道，就像身体没有灵魂是死的，照样，信仰没有行为也是死的。

他们将要与羔羊交战，而羔羊将胜过他们，因为他是万主之主，万王之王；与羔羊在一起的，是那些蒙召唤的、蒙拣选的、忠心的人。”
