Then another sign appeared in heaven: an enormous red dragon with seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns on its heads.

And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire.

And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,

And there appeared a great wonder in heaven; a woman clothed with the sun, and the moon under her feet, and upon her head a crown of twelve stars:

And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.

And the angel said unto me, Wherefore didst thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman, and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath the seven heads and ten horns.

And I saw three unclean spirits like frogs[ come] out of the mouth of the dragon, and out of the mouth of the beast, and out of the mouth of the false prophet.

And of the ten horns that[ were] in his head, and[ of] the other which came up, and before whom three fell; even[ of] that horn that had eyes, and a mouth that spake very great things, whose look[ was] more stout than his fellows.

And the ten horns out of this kingdom[ are] ten kings[ that] shall arise: and another shall rise after them; and he shall be diverse from the first, and he shall subdue three kings.

In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that[ is] in the sea.

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old.[ Art] thou not it that hath cut Rahab,[ and] wounded the dragon?

His eyes[ were] as a flame of fire, and on his head[ were] many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.

So he carried me away in the spirit into the wilderness: and I saw a woman sit upon a scarlet coloured beast, full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns.And the woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet colour, and decked with gold and precious stones and pearls, having a golden cup in her hand full of abominations and filthiness of her fornication:

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ.And I stood upon the sand of the sea, and saw a beast rise up out of the sea, having seven heads and ten horns, and upon his horns ten crowns, and upon his heads the name of blasphemy.And the beast which I saw was like unto a leopard, and his feet were as[ the feet] of a bear, and his mouth as the mouth of a lion: and the dragon gave him his power, and his seat, and great authority.And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who[ is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?

And here[ is] the mind which hath wisdom. The seven heads are seven mountains, on which the woman sitteth.And there are seven kings: five are fallen, and one is,[ and] the other is not yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue a short space.

The ancient and honourable, he[ is] the head; and the prophet that teacheth lies, he[ is] the tail.

After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it[ was] diverse from all the beasts that[ were] before it; and it had ten horns.I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn[ were] eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

And[ as] the toes of the feet[ were] part of iron, and part of clay,[ so] the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
