He was holding a little scroll, which lay open in his hand. He planted his right foot on the sea and his left foot on the land,

And the voice which I heard from heaven spake unto me again, and said, Go[ and] take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which standeth upon the sea and upon the earth.And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take[ it], and eat it up; and it shall make thy belly bitter, but it shall be in thy mouth sweet as honey.And I took the little book out of the angel’s hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.

[ By] terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation;[ who art] the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off[ upon] the sea:

And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.

And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.And one of the elders saith unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, hath prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.

And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.

Ask of me, and I shall give[ thee] the heathen[ for] thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth[ for] thy possession.

So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.

Which he wrought in Christ, when he raised him from the dead, and set[ him] at his own right hand in the heavenly[ places],Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come:And hath put all[ things] under his feet, and gave him[ to be] the head over all[ things] to the church,

By me kings reign, and princes decree justice.By me princes rule, and nobles,[ even] all the judges of the earth.

And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of[ things] in heaven, and[ things] in earth, and[ things] under the earth;And[ that] every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ[ is] Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
