我主在天上。聖名天下揚。諸天現光彩。妙手運陰陽。

You have made sure that children and infants praise you. Their praise is a wall that stops the talk of your enemies.

Out of the mouth of babies and infants, you have established strength because of your foes, to still the enemy and the avenger.

You have taught children and infants to tell of your strength, silencing your enemies and all who oppose you.

From the mouths of infants and nursing babies, you have established a stronghold on account of your adversaries in order to silence the enemy and the avenger.

From the mouths of infants and nursing babies You have established strength Because of Your enemies, To do away with the enemy and the revengeful.

Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.

“ Do you hear what these children are saying?” they asked him.“ Yes,” replied Jesus,“ have you never read,“‘ From the lips of children and infants you, Lord, have called forth your praise’?”

But he said to me,“ My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me.That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

He says,“ Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth.”

but those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.

But God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong.

At that time Jesus said,“ I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and revealed them to little children.

In days of old I planned it; now I have brought it to pass, that you have turned fortified cities into piles of stone.Their people, drained of power, are dismayed and put to shame. They are like plants in the field, like tender green shoots, like grass sprouting on the roof, scorched before it grows up.“ But I know where you are and when you come and go and how you rage against me.Because you rage against me and because your insolence has reached my ears, I will put my hook in your nose and my bit in your mouth, and I will make you return by the way you came.

terror and dread will fall on them. By the power of your arm they will be as still as a stone— until your people pass by, Lord, until the people you bought pass by.

The Lord is in his holy temple; let all the earth be silent before him.

Tremble and do not sin; when you are on your beds, search your hearts and be silent.
