that they might set their hope in God, and not forget God’s deeds, but keep his commandments,

好叫他们仰望神，不忘记神的作为，惟要守他的命令。

这样他们就把神当作他们的依靠，不会忘记神所行的，而会谨守他的诫命；

使其仰望上帝、無忘其作為、恪守其誡命兮、

俾我後人、希望上帝、思其經綸、守其誡命兮。

使之仰望天主、不忘天主之作為、謹守天主之命令、

惟主是仰。惟主是信。克念聖蹟。允遵大命。

Then they would put their trust in God and would not forget his deeds but would keep his commands.

Then they would put their trust in God. They would not forget what he had done. They would obey his commands.

so that they should set their hope in God and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments;

So each generation should set its hope anew on God, not forgetting his glorious miracles and obeying his commands.

Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.”

For this is loving God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.

Oh that there were such a heart in them that they would fear me and keep all my commandments always, that it might be well with them and with their children forever!

Only be careful, and keep your soul diligently, lest you forget the things which your eyes saw, and lest they depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your children and your children’s children—

Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits,

so whatever we ask, we receive from him, because we keep his commandments and do the things that are pleasing in his sight.This is his commandment, that we should believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and love one another, even as he commanded.He who keeps his commandments remains in him, and he in him. My soul longs for the Lord more than watchmen long for the morning, more than watchmen for the morning.Israel, hope in Yahweh, for there is loving kindness with Yahweh. Abundant redemption is with him.

Beware lest you forget Yahweh your God, in not keeping his commandments, his ordinances, and his statutes, which I command you today;

“ Because he has set his love on me, therefore I will deliver him. I will set him on high, because he has known my name.

When he had given thanks, he broke it and said,“ Take, eat. This is my body, which is broken for you. Do this in memory of me.”

who through him are believers in God, who raised him from the dead, and gave him glory, so that your faith and hope might be in God.

Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in Yahweh, his God:

You shall remember all the way which Yahweh your God has led you these forty years in the wilderness, that he might humble you, to test you, to know what was in your heart, whether you would keep his commandments or not.

then beware lest you forget Yahweh, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

you shall not be afraid of them. You shall remember well what Yahweh your God did to Pharaoh and to all Egypt:the great trials which your eyes saw, the signs, the wonders, the mighty hand, and the outstretched arm, by which Yahweh your God brought you out. So shall Yahweh your God do to all the peoples of whom you are afraid.

Remember his marvelous works that he has done: his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth,

“ Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh, and whose confidence is in Yahweh.For he will be as a tree planted by the waters, who spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes, but its leaf will be green, and will not be concerned in the year of drought. It won’t cease from yielding fruit.

My soul, wait in silence for God alone, for my expectation is from him.

You shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons forever.It shall happen when you have come to the land which Yahweh will give you, as he has promised, that you shall keep this service.It will happen, when your children ask you,‘ What do you mean by this service?’that you shall say,‘ It is the sacrifice of Yahweh’s Passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he struck the Egyptians, and spared our houses.’” The people bowed their heads and worshiped.

Then I thought,“ I will appeal to this: the years of the right hand of the Most High.”I will remember Yah’s deeds; for I will remember your wonders of old.I will also meditate on all your work, and consider your doings.

Blessed is the man who makes Yahweh his trust, and doesn’t respect the proud, nor such as turn away to lies.
