Certainly zeal for your house consumes me; I endure the insults of those who insult you.

for zeal for your house consumes me, and the insults of those who insult you fall on me.

My great love for your house destroys me. Those who make fun of you make fun of me also.

For zeal for your house has consumed me, and the reproaches of those who reproach you have fallen on me.

He found in the temple courts those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at tables.So he made a whip of cords and drove them all out of the temple courts, with the sheep and the oxen. He scattered the coins of the money changers and overturned their tables.To those who sold the doves he said,“ Take these things away from here! Do not make my Father’s house a marketplace!”His disciples remembered that it was written,“ Zeal for your house will devour me.”

My zeal consumes me, for my enemies forget your instructions.

Then they came to Jerusalem. Jesus entered the temple area and began to drive out those who were selling and buying in the temple courts. He turned over the tables of the money changers and the chairs of those selling doves,and he would not permit anyone to carry merchandise through the temple courts.Then he began to teach them and said,“ Is it not written:‘ My house will be called a house of prayer for all nations’? But you have turned it into a den of robbers!”

Now, to show my commitment to the temple of my God, I donate my personal treasure of gold and silver to the temple of my God, in addition to all that I have already supplied for this holy temple.

Take note, O Lord, of the way your servants are taunted, and of how I must bear so many insults from people!Your enemies, O LORD, hurl insults; they insult your chosen king as they dog his footsteps.

All who pass by have robbed him; he has become an object of disdain to his neighbors.

When she saw King David jumping and celebrating, she despised him.

He answered,“ I have been absolutely loyal to the LORD, the sovereign God, even though the Israelites have abandoned the agreement they made with you, torn down your altars, and killed your prophets with the sword. I alone am left and now they want to take my life.”
